Gabe POV

I was hearing everything that was going on with Elena and her family. I was shocked to hear that a prince named Alonso was coming from Cordoba. I got more jealous when Esteban-I mean Chancellor Esteban said that this Prince will be the future king of Avalor! Which means. I thought. That he's going to be marrying Elena! I was angry but keep my cool because Hector was there. 

Hector saw me with an angry face and told me, "Woah, Gabe calm down. Elena is a smart girl. She's not going to let her family decide whom she should married" 

"I know, but also knowing Chancellor Esteban, he's going to try to convince her" 

"True" replied Hector. Once Hector said that, I heard footsteps and Elena opened the door. 

"Oh hi Gabe....would you mind coming with me please I need an escort" she said. 

"Sure" I replied. Hector winked at me from behind. I smiled.

"So, what's up, why are mad?" I asked. She just stared at me with a worried look on her face. 

"It's just, I-I have to marry a prince and I don't want to....I want to choose my significant other nobody decides that" she said. 

"Well, maybe this prince will be kind and loving.....like you" I said blushing a little. 

"Really Gabe, you really mean that?" she said. 

"Well, of course, you're beautiful and sweet and confident and I know everything will turn out fine" I said (UUUGGHHH WHY YOU SAY THAT GABE WHY???!!) I saw Elena blushed a little so I smile. 

"Thanks Gabe you're the best, I should be optimistic about this thanks again...." and she hugged me. I turned red and felt my body shaking a bit. My heart was pumping so hard. We were hugging for what felt a long time! After we pulled away, she smiled and leaned closer to me! Or was I leaning closer to her? I didn't really know. My heart started pounding fast as we leaned into each other and then I realized that our faces were just inches apart! We closed our eyes.....
