What Happened?

Previously...

Elena deeped in her thoughts saw what was in Alonso's head. She saw images of him and her dancing at a wedding-their wedding. Then she saw him ruling Avalor by her side. She saw mean thoughts about Gabe. Then what she saw last was the one that gave her chills down the spine-she saw Gabe lying in the floor as dead as ice with blood all over him and Alonso laughing at him as he stood pale and still with nothing but an untold future for him.

Elena thought this was a nightmare. She screamed, "No, NO, NOO!!" then, suddenly everything went black

Elena woke up in her bedroom bed with Gabe wandering around her room. He had a worried face on. I wonder what happened? she thought. She sat up and tried to get up but loses her balance and fell but was caught by a familiar person who was also in the room. Gabe caught Elena in the waist. They stared into each other eyes, which made Elena feel a little awkward.

Gabe broke the silence and inquired, "A-are you okay, princess? You almost fell there."

He smiled and Elena nodded slightly."Yes, yes I'm fine. I just lost my balance."

"Oh well then just lay here and rest for a bit, you had a long day today," Gabe replied.

"Ok but what happened?! I don't remembered anything! All I remembered was waking up and going to the dining room."

Gabe gasped. "That's all you remembered?! D-do you remembered about w-what h-happened between...u-us?"

Elena thought and shook her head. "No I don't remember a thing! Was it important?"

Gabe's heart fell. She forgot our moment, our kiss, our love! He thought. His thoughts was interrupted by the sound of Elena.

"Gabe? Gabe, are you okay? What happened between us?" she asked once more.

"Oh that. Uh...um...it was just that about uh...the Olaball game that we will be playing in 2 days in the Peace Festival and uh I joined the team for my father and I was just wondering if you would like to-um-teach me how to play!" Gabe said stuttering.

"Well why didn't you say so! Of course I can teach you! Do you want to start practicing now?" Elena said ecstatically.

"Um no it's ok we can start tomorrow. Besides, it's 9 o'clock and you need to get some rest; just go to sleep and we'll start tomorrow" Gabe replied. Elena nodded and obeyed him.

Gabe looks at Elena, who is closing her eyes, and sighs. She forgot everything! Her problems with Prince Alonso, our kiss, our everything, she forgot! He thought. I have to think of something to make her remember! With that thought, Naomi and Mateo came in with worried looks on their faces.

Mateo looked over at Elena and asked, "is she okay?"

Gabe nodded and replied, "Yes, she is. She just woke up and forgot everything that happened in the past few hours!"

Naomi gasped. "Oh wow! So, she forgot about the whole Prince Alonso incident?"

Gabe nodded. "She...even...forgot about our...k-kiss," Gabe replied sadly. Naomi and Mateo sighed. They feel sorry for him.

Breaking the silence, Mateo spoke up, "I'm sorry. I know how much Elena means to you...I can find a potion that will make her remember about what happened!"

Gabe smiled. "Thank you Mateo, I appreciated."

"Now all we need is for you to keep her busy," Naomi suggested. "Somewhere where she doesn't expect a thing and is safe."

"No problem there," Gabe spoke. "I already made plans for her to teach me how to play olaball tomorrow."

"That's great! It will keep her busy and focus on teaching you!" Mateo replied ecstatically.

"And it also gives you time to conquer her heart," Naomi smirked and winked at him. Gabe blushed at the fact that he gets to spend more time with Elena.

"Ok, so it settles then, you will keep Elena busy while me and Naomi make the potion," Mateo pointed out.

Naomi was surprised. "Me?! Why me? I don't know how to do magic and sorcery and all those wizardry things!"

"W-well, y-yes b-but maybe y-you can h-help m-me" Mateo stuttered while blushing.

Naomi also blushed and Gabe noticed this. He chuckles. "Maybe this will benefit both of you as well!" They blushed even harder.

Gabe laughs. "Anyway, we should get going. It's a big day tomorrow!"

Gabe suggested and they all say their goodbyes and Gabe winked and smirked at Mateo.

He whispered, "It's not too late to make your move Mateo. Tomorrow it will just you and her!" Mateo blushed and laughed nervously. And soon, they each left home and slept waiting for the next sun to arise.
