A Wedding?

Gabe POV

I didn't know what I did. Without thinking, I just went up to her and....and....I kissed her!!! It was the most wonderful kiss I ever had! It was soft and delicious. I didn't know what I was thinking! Her arms were around my neck and one arm was lacing her hair and the other was on her hip. It was the longest kiss ever! I didn't care Alonso was staring at us kissing, it was just her and me. 

After we kissed, it was kinda awkward because it's like "what should we do now?" 

And then all of a sudden, we all heard someone calling out, "Ahh Alonso, so what did she say? She said yes didn't she? Well, that's splendid!!! Let's get started on the wedding, shall we?" It was King Juan Ramóne, Alonso's father! Wait, wedding?! Whhhaaatttt???!!! I thought. 

Then, Elena said, "Welcome your Majesty to the kingdom of Avalor. I'm Princess Elena. May I help you?" 

King Juan Ramóne responded excitedly, "No nothing in particular but how did you think of my son, Prince Alonso eh? He's magnificent isn't he? I know he is...so shall we get on the wedding?!" Elena looked confused and didn't know what to say. 

"I-" she started and then was interrupted by Alonso, "Father, there's no wedding....and besides if there was, it will be held in a few years!" 

King Juan replied, "Oh son, but our kingdom needs to get an early invitation to see you become King of Avalor and rule next to this lovely young lady Princess Elena!" 

"But father I've told you that there's no we-" started Alonso. 

"Ohh son, you say that because it will be in a few years!!!" said the King of Cordoba. I just stood there confused not saying a word. 

"But father she doesn't love me she love him," he said sternly pointing at me. I stood there in shock! 

The King then said, "What?! This guard? No no son, its you she loves or will love. Don't worry, they're just testing you to see if you were meant to be King, if you love her" 

Alonso said, "I don't she's a friend. I know that she's sweet and kind and beautiful and confident but she loves someone else, and I need to respect that!" 

"Son, no more nonsense, come with me, I need to talk to you....privately" the King said and glared at him. Oh no I thought. I began to worry once the King said that. I'm worried that he's going to try to convince Alonso to try and separate me and Elena! 

"Princess we better go!" I said. She nodded. I bet she was thinking the same thing as me. We ran towards a carriage and raced down the path towards the one place where Elena has friends to help her....the village.
