"Ah! I have a few you guys can use. And, you're in luck!" She turned around in her wheelchair, turning to the pile of books earlier, then turned again, handing us three books; one hardbound, and two paperbound. "These are great stories you guys can use."

Angeline gingerly took the books, then thanked the librarian.

"Just, don't forget to return the books to me. If you want to bring them home, tell me before leaving, alright?"

We both nodded.

"Also," she added, leaning down and writing something down on a piece of paper. "Here's a couple more novels I recommend you guys checking out."

I took the piece of paper. Written there is a list of novel titles that don't really ring a bell to me.

"They're mostly romance, so check out the romance section of the library. Just follow the labels on the sides of the bookshelves." She pointed to the bookshelves. Only then did I notice the labels she was talking about. "If ever you need anything, just ask, alright?"

"Ok, we will." Angeline spoke, then went off to the nearest unoccupied table.

I bid farewell to the librarian, and followed her, carrying the three books in my hands.

I placed them onto the table, and took a seat.

"Please stay here and watch the books. I'll go and get the others." She started to walk off, but I stood up.

"Wait, I'm coming with you."

Angeline looked at me suspiciously, "Ahm, why?"

"Well...cause I don't want to let a girl walk off on her own."

For some reason, Angeline let out a light laugh.

"What?"

"Nothing." She said simply, walking off into the bookshelves.

"Hey, seriously? What's funny?"

I glanced her once in a while as we tried to locate the romance section of the library. She looked like she was deep in thought, so I decided to leave her with it.

Unconsciously, I followed Angeline's lead, following her to who knows where. At first, I was worried she might not find it, but soon, we did anyways.

I glanced at the titles of the books.

I was never a book lover, but wouldn't hurt to try.

I picked out a random book, and began reading chapter 1, my mind slowly drifting away from reality.

The book's start was great, but it soon lost me. My mind slowly came back to its senses, and the book soon turned boring. Its like squeezing an orange for juice; once no more comes out, we throw it and pick a new one. So, like a dried out orange, I returned the book, and took another random one.

Again, the same thing: read, hook, loose, bored, return, find, and the cycle repeats again.

This happened two or three more times, before my legs started to get sore from standing still.
