As our browse in the library continues, I've walked a few steps ahead of Walter and silence had once again flew between us. I kept thinking, 'What's a good question to come up with?'

Since I don't know what to ask I just keep walking.

I searched for the genre on the label at each side of the bookshelves till we reached the bookshelf with a label romance.

We walk through the bookshelf and as we pass I asked, "so, what book do you prefer?" and glance at him, waiting for an answer.

.... .... No answer .... ....

He was carefully browsing the books. I stare at him as he search through the shelf for a book.

Since he doesn't want to answer me, I decided to browse the books as well. I searched for a nice cover, but I don't recognize the titles, so I took the liberty to read some parts of it just so I could have a summary of the book and see if it was nice or not.

I pulled a hard bound book and as I scan it, I liked it which made me continue reading it. I totally forgot that we were just going to search for a reference, I kept reading it, slowly turning to several pages. After some time I took a quick peek at my watch and found that I've been reading for 10 minutes.

I shut the book and turn to face Walter. He was still searching for books. Deciding to give him some more time, I opened the book again and continue reading where I left off.

"Hey, maybe we should look for a seat." Walter suggested.

I nodded, and picked up a few random books with me, seeing Walter with a pile of books on hand. We headed to the tables. Walter slammed down his pile, pulling two seats, and sat on one of them. I just sat on the other one beside him, and continued reading the book.

5 minutes...

10 minutes...

15 minutes had pass but no one had said a word yet, we were both reading the books we had.

After some time, I went to get my notebook and a pencil to take some notes as a preference for 'our' story. I went back to the table where we left our things and the other books. I reached for my bag beside the chair, carrying it along with the books the librarian gave us and brought it over to the table I left Walter on.

I placed the books on the table along with the other books we took from the shelves, dropped my bag on the floor and opened it, reaching for my notebook and pencil. I place the notebook on the table next to the hard bound book I took from the shelf, and open them both. As I re-read the story, I take notes, writing it in the notebook.

*ring*

*ring*

I jumped by surprise.

The ringing sound filled the library's quietness.

Just then, I realized it was my phone ringing. I fished it out my bag.

'Mom'

I answered, "Hey, Mom! What's up?"

"Where are you honey?"

"In the library, doing project."

"Oh, ok, just don't be too late, alright honey?"

"Alright." I hanged up the phone and continue reading the book and writing the notes.

Then without noticing it, I fell a sleep on the table.
