"Can I walk you to your room?" He asks. I simply nod and grab my briefcase. I didn't realize till the next morning that I had left my notes on the bar.

He finished telling me about what they did after waking up in the chicken coop as we walked to the elevator. I told him how much I missed Collin, Finn, And Robert.

"They miss you too, we should get together sometime, you're still technically a member of the life and death brigade."

"Yeah, I know, but I don't know....Maybe Someday." I say just as we reach my room.

"Well...this is it." I say.

"Guess so." He looks down at me, almost waiting for me to say something else.

"Night Ace." He says and starts to walk down the hall. Suddenly I can't control myself.

"Wait! Logan."

"Yeah?" He turns around.

"Would you like to come in? I'm gonna be up all night anyway with this paper, I was just gonna order in and watch twilight zone reruns but you're welcome to join...."

"Only if you tell me about why I keep getting emails from Doyle about joining his rock band." He says and I laugh.

"Now that ones a long story."

"I've got time." He says and I walk into my room leaving the door wide open.

"So they're called the expressionists and it all started about 7 months ago." I start to say as we sit down on the bed. The next few hours we exchange stories and order in pizza and cake, 'meal of champions' he called it. Things start to get deeper a little after 4 am when the food runs out and the caffeine starts to wear off.

"And I guess since then I just haven't even tried to pursue anything, and Lane thinks I'm crazy for it, she says I'm denying myself but I haven't really felt like I've been missing out on anything, at least Paris thinks it's fine, that just makes it worse though if Paris approves.

"You should let yourself be happy, you deserve that." He says.

"I am happy, I'm very happy. I have the job I want, I'm getting to travel, and I just bought this new espresso machine that blends flavors for you."

"I'm not talking about that kind of happy. I mean, something that makes you want to get up in the morning."

"My espresso machine makes me want to get up in the morning."

"Come on Ace, you know what I'm talking about."

"Yeah...I know, I guess no ones been worth it yet."

"You'll find someone, I'm sure there's already some guy out there who can't stop wishing just to have another conversation with you, or see you smile or Walk into the room. Maybe it's just not who you'd expect."

"And what about you?" I ask, putting the dishes on the desk.

"What about me?" He asks.
