This Fanfiction was written in 2016 before Tom Holland's presence in Marvel and was primarily based on the Amazing Spider-Man Franchise
Peter POV
How I found myself riding home with the two superheroes of my childhood and the very people who are attempting to force me to join the Avengers. I don't know.
However, I was happy to hear that both Steve and Tony had alerted the authorities (even using their titles) to get my old orphanage shut down and all the kids located to a nicer place.
But now was the real test. I silently cried inside at the thought of keeping my identity a secret from the very people who wish to know it. I thought of many different things that could happen while living with the avengers. All the possibilities of my identity being found out to what would happen if it was made know who I was. Not to mention how I was going to sneak out for patrol.
Everything was a mess that I needed to sort out and knew it was going to be odd. Especially since I didn't need to be adopted.
Don't get me wrong. I've always loved the idea of being adopted and to be adopted by my idols. That's even more amazing but ever since the whole me becoming Spider-Man thing. I've decided that it didn't actually matter. With being an orphan in a place like I was. It was easier to be both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. No random check ups. No one caring where I was or what I was doing. Most the time they never knew I was missing. I mean it was a poor system but at least I was able to keep my identity a secret. Plus I was almost out of the system as it was. Now it seems I'll have to put even more effort into it.
The ride was somewhat long, with traffic and the distance it took from the hobble of a home I used to live to the tower. I looked up at the talk building. Remembering all the times I'd swing by, while on patrols. Always wondering what it would be like to be able to go inside and look around. (Not that I haven't thought of hacking into Tony's systems and sneaking in. Which I haven't. At least the sneaking in part)
Tony pulled into a garage type place. I looked around in wonder. Seeing mostly a bleak empty room. Until the floor began moving up like an elevator. I sat back quickly in surprise. My eyes going slightly wide before amazement filled them. Both Tony and Steve turning to look at me.
As we were lifted into another room, I could see lights on and colors making its way into my vision. I looked in wonder and joy at the multiple cars and motorbikes scattered with in the room. Tools placed in odd places as well.
"Well what do you think of my garage?" I looked to Tony. Seeing a smug look of pride crossing his face, while Steve only shook his head knowing his husbands ego.
"It's pretty awesome" I said. Almost for loss at words. Using my very limited vocabulary I have when aw stricken. Both of the Avengers in the front seats. Stepped out of the car. I quickly followed behind. A medium duffle bag on my shoulders, considering I basically only owned cloths, and my bag for school laying across my body. I quickly followed behind them. Not really sure what to do. We walked across the garage to a glass door that lead into a hallway where a few more doors were.
"This is where Brucey's lab, along with mine is. Then our shared lab. You should join us sometime!" Tony said excitedly. I instantly looked over to the billionaire with hopeful and happy expression.
"Really! That would be awesome!" I said.
"Tony... what if it's dangerous?.. you and Bruce tend to blow things up.. a lot" Tony instantly looked to his husband. Pulling his sunglasses down from his eyes to give a dramatic affect before answering.
"Really? Come on. Everything will be fine Cap. He'll be safe" Steve only sighed before walking over to the elevator in the hallway. The door opening as he got close. Tony and me quickly piling in next to him.
"JARVIS Avengers floor and add Peter into the data base " Tony said. Taking the time to remove his sunglasses and stick them in his jacket pocket.
"Certainly sir" with that the elevator began to move up. I looked to Tony in amazement at his AI system. Even though I've read the article and hacked into the system. More then I should have. Either way it was an amazing piece of tech I would have never dreamed of ever getting to hear, see or any of the above in my life.
"So cool" I mumbled in a fanboy way. But still was heard by both of the occupants in the room.
"Here Peter let me take your bags" Steve said as he reached for my duffle bags. On instinct I turned them away and shock my head up at him with a small smile.
"That's alright. I got it" I said.
My suit is in this bag. I can't let you have it.
I thought slight panic but pretended nothing was wrong. He looked at me with a curious look and unsure of what to do but left it as that.
The elevator open with a ding shortly after. My back was turned away from the door when it opened. I stayed turned towards them watching as their expressions crumbled into that of panic and disappointment. With my super hearing, I could hear the yelling and shouting of many different people in the room louder then it should have been. My head began to tingle slightly, alerting me of something flaying towards my head.
"Pete-" Steve began but before he could finish. I without thinking dodged the incoming pie? That intern hit Tony straight in the face. Everyone in the room behind him got quiet before fits of laughter erupted throughout the room. Attempting to stifle my laughter I turned towards the room and everyone in it with a hand over my mouth but soon gave in.
Whipping his face with his hand, Tony glared at everyone.
"This means war Barton"
"Bring it on"
Soon the room was engulfed in an all out war. Pies and other food flying around the room. Everyone shouting at one another. I instantly rushed for cover in attempts to hide.
Hiding behind a table I peeked around it seeing both my new guardians engaged in mortal combat of the food fight (Steve reluctantly joined, after much convincing from his dear husband)
I continued to stay put. Watching all the commotion going on. Until I spotted agent Romanoff standing off to the side. A sly smile on her face before she looked over at me. Our eyes meeting for a few moments as she attempted to figure out who I was before what looked to be realization passed through her eyes. She then turned away to watch the wreckage of the battle going on.
After moments of waiting and watching, I decided to grab a can of whipped cream filling, and place it in four round tins all the way to the top, might I add with an evil grin. I snuck around the edge of the room staying clear of their visions and held onto the containers with the whipped cream. Using my powers to ensure it wouldn't fall.
Keeping them in place as I moved closer to the nearest person. Once in a better spot I threw one of the whipped cream filled tins at Tony before proceeding to send the next to Steve, Clint, and who I assumed was Thor. The substance making direct contact with each ones face.
Everyone stopped at that notion looking around the room for where the unexpected objects came from until their eyes landed on me. I stood off to the side looking innocently at nothing in particular. A small and I mean small burst of laughter came from a red head who stood without any food on her. Her eyes lit with amusement.
"Whose the kid " Clint ask. Trying to make himself seem serious even though he was cracking up with laughter on the inside.
"Uh that's Peter. He's the kid Tony and me adopted today." Steve said in reply
