"What do you mean?" I calmly said. My face showing confusion to the question he asked. He stared at me with a calculating look. As if he was analyzing every little thing I did or said and in this case I was sure he was. He was completely turned around from his desk so he had a better look of me. His work pushed to the side as he waited for who knows what. A confession? A break down to beg him not to tell? No thank you.

"Who are you talking about?" My voice was laced in confusion and a very believable look to back it up. Well, I hope so anyways. He messed with his glasses that rested on his face and his eyes cautiously looked around and back at me. With this I knew I had threw him off by a little. Self doubt obviously playing out on his facial expressions.

"Are you Spider-Man?" He asked, in an instant he stopped fidgeting and stared me down. Practically daring me to say other wise. In a quick moment I gave out a small laugh.

"Haha—your kidding right?! Hahah! Me? Spider-Man? That's the best joke I've heard in a while! Me Spider-Man, nerdy puny Parker. Not even a chance" I said all with amusement with a hint of 'Are you kidding me' right behind. His eyebrows furrowed for a moment and he let out a sigh.

"I guess so. Never mind. Sorry to have said.... such a ridiculous thing..." he looked at me in doubt as he turned back around. Glancing at me over and over.

"Huh.. Yeah... anyways I've got some stuff to do for school. See you later!" I said as I got up. Leaving just like normal. Stopping to wave at him on my way out like nothing was wrong. Only giving off the look of confused, amused all mixed into one. My face a little awkward. Giving off the expression 'did he really just ask me if I was Spider-Man? There's no way he could think I'm a hero.'

Once I was out of sight and in the elevator I let out the sigh I was holding and leaned against the wall.

"I really need that nap now.." I lowly said to myself as I leaned against the elevator wall. Like usual the elevator ride was short. When I got to the top everyone, excluding Bruce and Thor, were sitting around the table in the kitchen. Cards and chips laying against it. Some had drinks settled in front of them.

I casually walked over to them getting the attention of Clint and Natasha instantly as they were sitting with their faces towards the elevator.

"You finally join us pipsqueak. Enjoy your nerdy time with the Bruce?" He said, while he messed with his cards.

"How was your day Peter? Sorry we had to step out for a while" Pops said with his usual caring tone.

"It's fine. I didn't do much. Just went around the tower, tv, books. What are you guys doing?" I replied before asking, hinting to the game they were playing.

"Poker. Wanna play?" Dad turned to give me a grin. Motioning for me to take a set.

"Does he even know how to play poker?" Clint said, acting like I wasn't there to get on my nerves. Oh. It's on.

"Deal me in" my face went serious as I walked over and took a seat. Pops looked at me to see if I was good but didn't mention anything else.

The game continued for a while. Everyone giving judging looks to one another, some more smug then others.

"I'm all in" Clint suddenly said. I looked to him and then the rest.

"Same here" Pops said. Dad and Natasha backed out placing their cards facing done. Everyone instantly looking to me.

"I'm all in too" I said pushing my coins to the middle.

"You sure champ? No shame in saying you don't have what it takes." Clint teased. His face showing amusement as he grinned at me. Getting a sigh from a few due to his behavior.

"No I'm in. Unless your afraid of losing?" I cooly said in a instigative time to rile him up. He narrowed his eyes at me not caring for my teasing I did back. He flipped his cards revealing a full house and Pops flipped his to be a flush. I stared at their cards with a blank face. Watching Clint smirk thinking I had lost. I flipped my cards over instantly grinning.

"No way..." Clint mumbled.

"He got a royal flush..." Dad added. Amusement slowly spreading to his face, before he burst out laughing at Clint's devastated face.

"Thank you, I'll be taking that" I pulled all the coins to me. Marveling at how well of a job I did.

"Well since I've kicked your butt, I've accomplished what I wanted to do. I'll be in my room. I need to finish some school work" I said, and stood. I patted Clint on the shoulder as I walked out. Going straight for my room.

I couldn't exactly go out as Spider-Man because everyone was still up and about. No doubt they'd check on me at some point and I couldn't use that bathroom trick so easily with them out and about. At least at night I could lie and said I didn't feel good if they check on me more then once. In the day they'd most likely come barging in. Nosing into my business like any family would.

I sighed to myself and turned the light on just as I walked into my room. It was almost dark out. Telling me exactly just how long I had been out and about. I simply took a deep breath before releasing it. I took a seat in my chair and stared out the window. My room was quiet and I didn't really know what to do. I had already finished my homework before I left school for the weekend. It was peaceful for the most part.

My thoughts wandered back to an issue that wasn't solved. Where was Harry? And what was he plotting? It killed me inside to not know because I knew I was his target. He was a mentally insane person that's sole purpose was to ruin me because I didn't give him my blood. Because we were friends and I wouldn't 'help' him. I didn't know what the effects would have been and didn't want to risk it. So I refused. He's still bent up about that and I knew it didn't help he wasn't in his sane mind right now.

I quietly sat in my chair for a while, until my spidey senses began to go off. Causing me to jump out of my sit the moment something came flying at me.

"Shit! God fucking dammit! See what you made me do?!?— my fault?! Your the voice in my head take responsibility! — Huh? Oh, yeah he might think we're crazy." My eye twitched knowing exactly who it was and I honestly couldn't deal with it.

"Shut up Deadpool" I said.

"Oh you know me! That makes this easier! You know a Harry? He sent me— oh my chimichanga! Let's go!" He made a grab at me and I instantly dodged him and kicked him to the ground.

"That wasn't nice" he said as he lauded on the ground. I crossed my arms as he laid on his back looking at me.

"What are you goin—" started but never finished.

"Shhh. My common sense is tingling" he said putting a finger to my lips. "Ive seen those movies, and that fabulous butt before! Gasp! Are you my baby boy!" He exclaimed putting his hands to his face in shock.
"Spidey!" He instantly launched himself at me and I found myself groaning in distaste's at his usual self and the fact he figured it out. He hugged me and I began to push me away. Try to keep him off me.

"Hey Peter we wanted to know if you wanted take out— Deadpool??!" Dad said.

A/N

Sorry about not updating on time. I have midterms. Lots of them. And the weather messed it up so everything is crammed even more then before. So that's why I didn't update last Sunday. Then just the other day (Friday) I slipped and feel because of freezing rain and messed my arm up. My entire left arm is in pain and it's causing my shoulder, fingers, neck, and head to hurt. I went to the hospital today to get it checked out. It's all good. But it's just hard to do stuff.

So it took me a while to write it and sorry if it's not a lot. I'll write more for next Sunday or if I get a chance this week.
