"What?..." I said. Drawing it out. How does she expect me to join the Avengers. She does realize my family is the Avengers and they don't know who I am. Haven't I mentioned to them I wasn't interested. In a way I lead Steve on saying I'd think about it. In all honestly I wanted to protect the city and if they asked me for help because they needed it, I'd gladly give them the help they need. I just don't want to be a full time member. Nick Fury can take his proposal and shove it. I don't like he's way of handling the situation.

"Dinner is ready" JARVIS repeated.

"Not you JARVIS. Thank you though. Tell them will be down in a moment" I waited for a short reply of 'of course' from the AI before looking at Natasha. She crossed her arms before raising an eyebrow as to tell me to continue my thoughts.

"I don't want to join the Avengers" I firmly told her.

"Whys that?" She asked. Her face never flattering, nor her body posture. I only rolled my eyes. Having gone over this with the others and I assumed they knew about it as well.

"I'm sure you heard." I paused for a moment to look at her. Then continued when I could see she wanted me to continue.

"I rather stay a small time vigilante who protects the city. If I was to disappear the city would be in chaos. Everything I worked so hard to protect will go to crap and people will at scared. I protect the weak, those who are unable to defend themselves and do what others can't do. I don't have anything against the Avengers but by knowledge they only step in on larger scale problems. Where were you when people were held hostage here in New York? Where were you when that women was mugged and then shoot at for trying to defend herself? Where were you for anything? That's the point. I was there. I try to save them all. That's what I want to continue doing and being an Avenger will complicate what I do. You guys leave out of no where and for how long you guys never know. So respectfully. I'll have to decline even if you tell them." I fully stated. Feeling a small about of relief at my statement and the feeling of the pressure being lifted off my shoulders. I was sure I'd be in for it if she tells them but I was prepared to defend myself.

She stayed silent for a moment before she began to speak. Finding myself ready for her to go off and tell my parents.

"Okay"

"Huh?" I dumbly looked at her inside of what just happened. Did she say okay?

"I respect that you were able to stand up for yourself and make your own decisions. I just wanted to see if you were easily pushed around when push came to shove. Because if Fury finds out your identity he'll black mail you. I just wanted to see what you'd do." She walked over to me and gave me a small smile.

"I'll keep your secret. But your still going to train with me" I sighed in relief feeling myself relax. I quietly followed behind. Waiting a money before trailing into the kitchen to the table, where everyone sat.

The dinner was simple and was quickly ate. Everyone looked tired and I just hoped they'd forget about talking to me until tomorrow. They spent most the time talking and before we knew it the sky had fallen into night and the moon hung in the sky. The sky decorated in dark clouds and the air was almost undoubtedly chilled. Now that I think about it what's today's date? Probably would explain why I'm on break. I probably should start writing the date on my school work.

I thought to myself for s while ignoring most of the conversations. Only giving a response when directed at me. Tony and Clint fighting with each other over simple things. One throwing insults before the other three some shade. The usual. Soon one by one had gotten up to go to bed.
