Ouran High School Host Club Asumi's Story

Episode 2

"ASUMI!" Haruhi shouted in anger. "Get up!"

Asumi rolled over and pulled the pillow over her head.

Haruhi doesn't give up on trying to wake her sister up. "I said get up!" Haruhi jumped on top of Asumi and started to shake her.

Asumi shot up, pushing Haruhi off to the floor in the process. "I'm up!" She shouted. Asumi looked over the edge of her bed with an innocent look on her face. "Sorry."

"Mmmh." Haruhi sassed. "We have to go."

"I don't want to go to your lame beach party thing with those guys."

"But, Asumi! You told me that you would go. I told the guys that you would go. They all were excited." Haruhi said with a sad tone.

Asumi groaned and throw herself back. "Fine!" She got up and haste and got herself ready.

"Asumi, do you want to swim with us?" A voice asked.

I looked over my sunglasses to see one of the twins. "May I ask why?"

"I thought it would be nice to invite you to have fun. Hikaru and I would love to get and know you more."

"Oh, so you're Kaoru. The sweet and sensitive twin." I mentioned with a grin.

"Are you coming?" Kaoru asked once more, holding his hand out.

I took it with a groan. "Fine."

Asumi played volleyball with the twins. Hikaru seemed to be having fun with them.

"Great shot, Hikaru!" Asumi would comment.

Asumi went for the ball. She tripped over a rock and fell, landing hard.

"Asumi!" The twins shouted, running to her aid.

"Are you okay?" Hikaru asked, frantically.

Asumi leaned on her elbows. "I'm fine." She giggled.

Hikaru nudged Asumi's shoulder. "You're a tough one."

Kaoru stood up and rubbed the back of his neck. "I think Tamaki was calling for me. I'll see ya around."

"Wait. I'll come with you, Kaoru" Hikaru stood up to follow his brother.

Kaoru turned around. "No, you stay and help Asumi. Be good to her, Hikaru."

Hikaru turned to Asumi and helped her up. He gave a little too much power, making Asumi stumble close to him.

Hikaru is sweet, but it seems that he can't do anything without his brother. It's cute... in a way...

"Would you like to go for a walk?" I softly asked, giving him and I room between each other.

"That sounds like fun," Hikaru asked.

We walked along the beach, getting to know each other better. He told me about his brother and why they are so close to each other. I told him about my family and why I had to leave.

"So... How do you feel about Haruhi?" I asked Hikaru, in hope of clearing things up.

"Haruhi, well, she's great. Real funny sometimes." Hikaru asked, nervously.
