My mother died a year after I was sent to live with my Aunt. I have a transgender father, who is very protective. He was torn when I left and my younger sister took the role of my mother which is sad in a way. She was forced to grow up before the age even came to her.

It's been two years since I saw my father and sister. My Aunt let me travel back to visit for a while.

*
She gazed out the window, imaging the look on her sisters face due to her return home.
A smile warmly curls the corners of her mouth as a soft chuckle left her lips.

The cab stops at a sudden halt.
*

"Are we here?" I asked.

The cabbie nodded.

I step out of the car, dragging my two small bags with me. I handed him money and stood in front of the apartment building.

*
She walks up to the door of a second-floor apartment. Her hand curled into a fist, ready to knock.
*

I let out a deep breath, worried about the reaction of my father. Without me actually knocking, the door flies open.

"Asumi!" A manly, yet feminine voice shouts.

"Father."

He pulls me in for a big hug.

"Where is Haruhi? Where is my little sister?" I asked, pushing him aside and going to her room in excitement.

"My dear, Asumi." Father followed to explain. "Haruhi is in school at the moment. With the host club. She moved out of her comfort and joined a club. Isn't just wonderful."

I gave him a smile. "That's great. Haruhi grows up fast."

*
Asumi and Mr.Fujioka, her father sat down to caught up. Only for about an hour. Asumi had to go see her sister, so she went to the Ouran High school in search. Getting there she was pointed to an abandoned music room. Asumi stood in front of the door wondering why Haruhi was in this room.
*

My hand barely touched the door handle and the door softly burst open. A sweet smell of roses filled the air and rose petals swarmed around me. I was basically pulled inside.

"Welcome, Princess, to the Ouran high school host club." A sweet and soothing voice introduced.

"Wait. Let me stop you there. Don't ever call me Princess." I ordered.

A yellow-haired boy stood up from a chair. "I am Tamaki, King of the Ouran Host Club. What kind of guy are you in to? Do you like the strong silent type? The boy Lolita type? How about the mischievous type? The cool type? Or the sweet, honest, and down-to-earth type?"

*
Each type was dedicated to a different boy. The strong and silent was referred to Takashi followed by what looked like a boy, who people called Honey. The identical twins were the ones who always got in trouble. Hikaru and Kaoru are their names. The cool one is Kyoya, who is basically the manager of the club. Haruhi is the down-to-earth type. Of course, you can't forget about Tamaki, who is the King of the club. He's the one who started the whole thing.
*

The tall, yellowed haired, and sparkling blue-eyed boy came too close. He lifted my chin and acted as if he was going to kiss me. "Or maybe you're into a guy like me."

"No!" I pushed him back. "You will not touch me!"

Tamaki nodded. "My apologies."

A boy with glasses stepped forward. "Please forgive Tamaki. He has no real filter. I am Kyoya, almost like the club manager." He points at each boy saying their name. "This is Takashi, Honey, Hikaru and Kaoru, and lastly our newest member, Haruhi."

My eyes widen at the site. Haruhi, my little sister dressed as a boy to entertain girls. "Haruhi?"

She looked up at me, but she didn't recognize me. Her gazed turned back down to the floor.

"I'm sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Asumi Fujioka."

Everyone looked at me in shock. They seemed to be surprised by my name.

Tamaki jumped up and down. He grabbed me by the hands and spun me around. "Haruhi has a sister!!" He shouted with joy.

"Let go of her, Senpai!!" Haruhi yelled, pulling me away.

I finally got myself steady.

"Who knew." The two twins said in unison. "Haruhi has a sister and she's good looking."

I could feel my cheeks turn a light red at their comment.

"Father didn't tell me you were coming, Asumi," Haruhi said to me.

"I guess he wanted it to be a surprise." I gave a soft smile. "I'm sorry it's been so long since we last saw each other."

Haruhi eyes were tearing up. She didn't hesitate in squeezing my guts out. "I missed you, Asumi!"

"I missed you too, Sis." One hand rested on her head and the other around her shoulders.

*
Asumi and Haruhi went to the supermarket to catch up on lost time. Haruhi was so happy to see her sister and as was Asumi.
*

"So, Haruhi, tell me something. Why did you join the Host Club." I asked her.

"Well, Asumi, to be honest, I really had no choice. You see, I have to pay off a debt. I accidentally broke an expensive vase." Haruhi shyly explained to me.

"Oh, my dear. You've always been a klutz." I joked.

Haruhi giggled. "Shut up! I have not."

I took another bite of my rice. "Tell me, have you fallen for any of the boys, yet?"

Haruhi practically jumped out of her skin. "What!? No!? Gross!"

"Relax! It was just a question." I put one hand up and the other behind my neck. "That reaction tells me that you have fallen for one."

Her face turned rosy red. "I have not!"

"Which one is it?" I quickly asked, trying to get the answer out of her. "Kyoya, the cool one? Or is it the twins, the troublemakers? The little boy or the manly one? Oh, no!" I study Haruhi's face, trying to figure the one she likes. Nothing changed at the boys I mentioned. "It's Tamaki."

"No!" Haruhi got all flustered. "I do not like Senpai!"

"Oh, but you do."

*
Haruhi soon gave in to Asumi's bugging. They talked and giggled about the boys at in the host club for the rest of the night.
