HERMIONE'S POV
Larisa and Mark invited us to come stay at there house until Rose was cleared to travel. I look around the room at Draco, Larisa, and Mark before taking a deep breath, "Hey Draco?"
"Yeah Mione?"
I sigh lightly before turning to face him, "I was thinking we should move here. To New York, I mean." Larisa and Mark look over at us, Larisa shifting baby Rose in her arms.
"There's a house for sale next door. It just barely went up. They're moving across the country to be with their family. Maybe you guys could take a look at it." Larisa said with a nervous smile.
I grin at Draco, "Please! It would be great having Larisa and Mark as neighbors. And it would be good for Rose to be this close to her godparents."
I flash him another smile and he concedes, "I've been thinking about moving somewhere other than England to get away and you're right this would be the perfect place." He turns to Mark, "When would we be able to go look at it?"
"I'll floo over and ask." Mark replied before getting up and leaving. Larisa and I grin at each other as I clap my hands excitedly. While Mark is gone Larisa explains that there is a nice park and a shopping center nearby that they use. "Oh! And there's a beautiful apple orchard that I absolutely love picking at. You would love it too I think."
I gasp excitedly, "And we could go there with Rose every year and take pictures in the same spot!" I look over to see Draco grinning at me. "What?" I ask defensively.
He laughs, "Nothing. You're just really excited and it's cute."
I blush and laugh self consciously, not realizing I was that into it. With that, Mark came back and said that the owners of the house next door said we can go take a look at it tomorrow at 10 o'clock. I grin happily at Draco and he hugs me before lightly kissing the top of my head.
DRACO'S POV
Hermione seems so excited about the idea of moving here next door to Mark and Larisa and to be honest so am I. I know she doesn't want to go back to England either. There are too many memories there to ever settle down fully. I look up from the floor when I hear the door open. Hermione walks in, her feet making no noise as she pads across the floor. Her hair is in wet ringlets, spread across her shoulders, framing her face. She smiles at me and sits next to me on the bed, resting her head on my shoulder. I groan jokingly, " 'Mione! Your hair is wet and it is ruining this very expensive, very fancy shirt."
"Shut up Draco. You are wearing an old sweatshirt you've had since we were in school." She laughs and pushes my shoulder. I fall dramatically across the bed and she throws herself down on the bed next to me.
I hum lightly, "So, you were watching?"
"I will repeat. Shut up Draco." She replied, rolling her eyes.
"You're gonna have to make me." I say, smirking.
She sighs dramatically, "If I must." She laughs before leaning over and kissing me. I roll over so that I'm leaning over her and then crying rings out from the room next to ours.
I copy her, sighing dramatically and stand up, "I'll get her." Hermione smiles and I can't help but smile back.
HERMIONE'S POV
"Come on Draco! Let's go!" I called to him, drawing out the o in go to be more dramatic. He laughed and ran up to me. "You're so slow." He rolled his eyes at me as Larisa walks up to the fireplace next to us.
"I hope you don't mind that Mark isn't coming. He figured Rose needs someone to stay with her." I smile fondly, knowing that both he and Draco are extremely protective over her.
