Chapter Seven

Chandler and I walked to our History class. I've always hated History but I guess you have to do it. I took my seat and he took his. After seconds of us preparing for class in walked Alana and Kassidy. Without even making eye contact with us, the two of them took their seats. Then in walked Sam, he looked at the two girls and took his seat.

The class fills up slowly and then the bell rings. I can't remember what we learned that day but I do remember talking to Chandler that entire class, with the occasional glare from Alana.

"Okay, your turn." Chandler said.

"Okay, umm. What's your favourite colour?" I asked, not knowing what else to ask.
"
That's easy, blue." He said with an adorable smirk appearing on his face.

"Now it's your turn." I say playfully.

"Okay Kendra, umm, I can't think of anything. Wow. Okay let's go with this, what's your middle name?"

"Seriously Chandler? My middle name?" I asked laughing

"It's the only thing I could think of!" He said playfully raising his hands in surrender.

"I'm not telling, you have my to guess." I said not giving up the answer.

"I have to guess? That's not fair." He said with a smile forming on his face. "Hannah?" He asked.

"Nope."I said laughing "I'll give you a hint and you have three guesses!" I say. "It starts with a 'L'" I say hoping he wouldn't get it.

"'L' okay, is it Lydia?" He asked with a puzzled expression replacing his smile.

"Nope." I say with a smile appearing.

"Lilly?" He asked about to give up.

"Nope. Still not right." I say not giving in to telling him.

"Lila! I has to be Lila, there are like no other names that start with 'L'!" He explained frantically.

"Nope." I said as a smiling, he was adorable when he gets annoyed.

"How is that possible? There's like no more girl names that start with 'L'!" He said in confusion.

"You do know that you really are terrible at this game" I said looking at him, smiling.

He looked back at me. "It's not my fault that your middle name is impossible to figure out." He said smiling, I loved his smile.

"It's Lillian. My middle name is Lillian." I said still looking at him. His face lit up.

"I was going to say Lillian!" He said as the bell rang.

"You were not!" I said as I stood up and started walking to the hallway.

"It's true, I was." Chandler said walking to catch up with me. I've been in Atlanta for about a week now and I already have two girls who hate me and two friends, that are guys. I'm really not into all of this 'making friends with girls' kinda thing.

I reached my locker and chandler was standing right beside me.

"How is your locker so neat?" I asked in awe when I opened my locker.

"What do you mean? It's not difficult." I said laughing.

"Fair enough." He said. I put my books away and closed my locker.

"Don't we have a spare right now?" I asked Chandler.

"Yeah. We do everyday after history." He explained. "Hey, follow me." He said grabbing me by the arm. We walked through the school and every girl was just staring at us, some smiling, others not so much. He lead me outside to the field and we say down by a huge tree off to the right of the school.

"Sit." He said motioning to the gravel around the tree. "It's cool out here isn't it." He said making eye contact with me. Something about this boy makes me like him more and more each day.
