Chapter Ten

I finally arrived home and walked into the living room. My mom was sitting there on the couch, she was crying.

"Mom? What's wrong? Is everything okay?" I asked as I ran over towards her.

"Baby sit down for a moment" my mom said with a very sad look in her eyes.

"Baby, there was an accident, Logan is in the hospital."

"What? WHAT?!" I jumped up and started screaming words I don't understand. Suddenly my vision was blurry and my pulse was increasing.

"HONEY! IT WILL BE OKAY, HE WILL BE FINE." My mother said frantically. She stood up and walked me over to the couch and I say down. I've never felt this before, I felt lost and alone. I jump up off the couch and I bolt upstairs. I slam into my bed and screamed. He was my best friend. I took out my phone and put it in the bed beside me. The screen was illuminating. Across the screen was notifications from people.

*Hope Logan is well*

*Your family is in my thoughts and prayers*

But out of all of them one stood out.

*Call me -Chandler*

I picked up my phone and dialled his number.

-Hello?-

-Hi.-

-Kendra! Oh gosh, How are you?-

-Not good-

-They put up a 'memorial thing' on Logan's locker-

-oh-

-Well I'll see you tomorrow?-

-Yeah-

-Bye-

That was one of the most boring phone calls of my life.

I closed my eyes.

I couldn't bare the rest of this day.
