"Mom, I can't go there, I don't fit in with this, none of it. I can't adjust to the Atlanta lifestyle. I miss Boca mom." I said as I gazed at my mom, she was always so stunning and she didn't have to try."Kendra, Honey I know you miss Boca Raton, but it's always fun to try something new, something spontaneous!" She looked at me with her eyes filled with empathy. "This is the total opposite of spontaneous." I said under my breath.
"Good bye sweetie." She kissed my forehead and I got out of the car. I looked back and saw her drive off, that's when I knew, "I'm doomed." I whispered to myself.

I walked into the set of double doors in the front if the school and looked around, I looked at the trophy cases with a ton of awards in them *sport freaks* I thought to myself. Eventually I made my way down to the main office.
" Um..." I said as I looked at the name tag on the desk, "Good Morning Miss. Keller, I'm Kendra Micheals." I said, unsure if that was the best sentence to say. How was I supposed to start the year? Be the Bad-Ass chick everyone knows and is the queen bee or that nerd who sits in the back of the class room and reads.
"Oh yes Miss Micheals! We have been waiting for you, we put you in Mr. Jacobson's class. He's quite the charmer." She said as she leaded my down the halls, this school was nothing even close to my old one back in Boca. We eventually got to Mr. Jacobson's class and it was full, except for the one empty seat at the back, mine in guessing.
"Attention class, here is our new student we have been discussing for a while. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies, things your good at." The outgoing teacher said as he sat up on his desk even though there was a perfectly good chair right behind him.
It was just me, standing at the front of the class by myself, everyone looking at me. "Umm. Well my name is Kendra Micheals, umm... I'm 14 and I'm from Boca Raton in Florida." I noticed some girls in the back give me elevator eyes. Where they the Mean Girls of Etowah? Ignoring them I continued. "I don't really have any hobbies besides moving, and I'm not sure what I'm good at, ahaha" I said trying to break the awkward.
"Very good, Very good. Now class it's a spare so do what ever you please, you know the rules. No leaving class or no misbehaving." Mr. Jacobson said taking a sip from him coffee cup. I made my way to the back of the class to my seat. Everyone was talking to their friends, I can already tell that this year should be fun. *Good luck trying to make friends* my unwanted self conscious stepped in. I was finally seated and and I took my phone out of my bag. It was getting rather loud in class, so I took out my earphone and plugged them into my phone. I turned my music on and just when when I started to calm down a hand tapped my shoulder. I jumped in my seat. I yanked out my head phones and looked towards the direction if the awkward poke.
"Hey? Umm, Mr. Jacobson only lets you listen to music if you ask first." Smiled the beamish boy. He had eyes as blue as the sky on a summer morning and dark brown hair. His blue plaid button-down shirt was looked so nice on him.
"Oh, uhh thanks for letting me know before hand." I smiled at the boy, still not knowing his name.
"My name is Chandler, nice to meet you." He continued not breaking eyecontact. As I looked at his blue eyes it hit me. He wasn't just a regular 14 year old. He was Chandler Riggs! Carl Grimes! OMG. I looked away and hid my face in my good of my Victoria Secret sweater. I took my science notebook out of my bag, preparing for my next period. I looked out of the corner of my eye and I noticed him looking towards another boy. He had blonde hair and braces. He was looking at me and motioning to me. Then Chandler looked at me again. I started to get nervous. I looked ahead and saw these two girls staring at me and then back to Chandler and the other boy.
They started whispered to each other. *Just ignore them Kendra* my self conscious stepped in for some support. Then the bell rang after what felt like forever. As soon as it rang I packed up and got out of the class. I walked to my locker as fast as I could. *The note Kendra, THE NOTE!* I slammed close my locker and started running towards Mr. Jacobson's class with my books still in hand. As I turned the last corner and bumped into someone and my books went flying.
I immediately started to pick up my books a without even looking at who I bumped into "I'm sorry, that's my fault. I shouldn't of been running in the-" I stopped mid sentence when the person grabbed my arm and pulled me up. It was him. I bumped into Chandler. I was beyond embarrassed.
" It's fine, no need to worry" he said with a adorable smile painted into his freckled face. The blonde boy came around the corner and whispered something in Chandlers ear. "Get out of here Sam!" Chandler yelled swatting him out of the way. By this time almost everyone in the hall started to look at us. Why me? Why now?
Just as all of this happened the two girls from earlier came around the corner. "Who knew we needed another train wreck to add to the list?" Asked one of the snobs asked as she looked at her friend.
"Kassidy, just give it up already." Chandler looked at the two girls with a hint of annoyance in his tone of voice. "Are you sure you are alright?" He asked in a very different tone than he did before.
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." I said and started to walk away. Just as I begun to walk, he grabbed my arm again and made me face him.
"Anytime." He said than him and Sam walked down the hallway.
