Chapter Eleven

- 6 months later-

I woke up around half past 8. I had no motivation to even move. Lazily I stood up and walked into the bathroom. My eyeliner and mascara were all over my face.

"UGH! MOM!"

"What baby?" My mother said with a sudden sniffle.

Logan.

I ran down the stairs to see my mother and two police standing in my living room.

"Uh, mom?"

"This is officer Anderson and officer Langley." My mother stated with a dead expression. "Their here to tell me that the man they got, cause of Logan's dea-a-th was the wrong person." A single tear rolled down my mother's eye. I ran over to the frail woman.

"Mom, it's going to be alright."

-1 hour later-

I pull into the school parking lot. Chandler is sitting under to same tree reading the same book.

"Hi Chandler."

"Kendra, wow oh um hi." He said stuttering over is words. I don't understand how, I had no makeup on, my hair was in a ponytail and I was in sweats. Since Logan died I can't be the same. I'm not sure why. The past 6 months have been fine at school, Alana and her sidekicks backed off, as far as I was concerned it was finally starting to look up from here.

Chandler are walking through the field hand in hand and he suddenly stops walking.

"Is everything alright?" I ask

"Kendra. Where do I start, okay you are so beautiful, I can't even put it into words. You're so funny without even trying, I don't have to worry about if you're funnier because I know you are. You were the best thing that has ever happened to me, okay? Don't forget that. Ever. And I know this first year here has sucked and you've been through hell and back, but, Kendra Michael's will you do the amazing honour of being my girlfriend?

I fell back a bit and put my hands on my face. Chandler pokes his head up under my arms.

" So is that a yes?"

"Yes!" I say as I wrap my arms around his neck, hugging him close. He was the best this that has ever happened to me. I am forever grateful.
