Chapter Nine

I was hurt. I could not believe the things that Alana made up. Maybe she was doing this to get closer to Chandler. Or maybe because she do not want me at this school. The possible reasons could be endless.

I walked into the bathroom stall and shed a few tears. It was all that i could do, if I were to tel Alana off for what she has done things would get even worse. I can out of the stall after about a miniute and looked in mirror. My already unperfect make up was more messed up then it was when I did it. I took a napkin from the holder in was places in a fixed my eye make up. I did my bestn with what I had. I tried my best to smile but nothing happening, just a blank stare of sadness was painted across my face. I slowly crept my way to the door, where once again I would have to face reality.

I walked out of the bathroom, instantly noticing Chandler facing the bathroom door pacing around. He instantly ran up to me and grabbed my hands in front of our bodies. I guess he must have noticed my bloodshot eyes and crooked smile because he pulled me towards him and hugged me. Everyone was looking at us with a few chuckles here and there.

I could tell he really cared. He let go of the hug and walked me out of the school. He was not saying anything, but I guess there was not much to say in a time like this. He walked me back out into the field and he stood there, facing me.

He pulled me in and hugged me again. I felt so awkward but it was peaceful. When I started to calm down he looked at me.

"Kendra, I don't think you realize how much you really mean to me." He said with a sympathetic look on his face. "Just ignore them Kendra, It's not worth it. As long as you have me you won't have to worry at all." He said starting to smile. The end of school bell chimed in the background, echoing load enough that the soccer kids could hear it. As we walked he leaned into my ear.
'Just remember that I will always be here for you and I won't let anyone get between us.' he whispered. And we walked to the front parking lot.
