Rainy's POV
_________

"Mark, did you seriously have to break my arrow?"
Here's the thing, I never lose or break them. I've only lost one sense everything happened. Then my asshole of a brother comes along and decides it's a genius idea for him to shot a tree. A fucking tree.
"Quit whining, you have eleven more." He says rolling he's eyes at my pouting. I look over and notice that Mia is laughing at me. I begin to laugh too. I'm lucky to have them, well that we've all made it this far. Mom and Dad died two weeks in and our oldest sister Kyla was gone a week later. Ryan's the oldest at nineteen, then there's Mia at sixteen, then me, Rainella at the raw age of fourteen. It's just been the three of us for a while. Sure there has been others along the way but everyone always dies. Always.
"Ahhhhh!!!" I am thrown from my thoughts by a high pitched scream. I turn around and see a rotting walker latched on to my sisters shoulders. Without hesitation I pull out an arrow and raise my bow, watching it fall to the ground. I'm frozen. Ryan rushes to Mia and holds her close. "I want to do it," she says as she pulls out a gun. Ryan is the only one crying at this point. She smiles softly whispering "Goodnight."
Everyone dies.

Anastasia's POV
___________

Hearing someone scream, I immediately put my hand in front of  Ericka and pull out my axe. She looks at me and reaches for her fathers gun. We slowly make our way towards the source of the screaming killing three walkers on the way. "Shit, I got blood on your jacket." Ericka turns to me and shows that her gashed up hand is bleeding, again. I look down at my leather jacket her uncle gave me and smile. "It's alright," I tell the girl, "let's just keep walking." She quickly nods and we continue.
  *snap*
We jerk our bodies around to see a girl with a bow and arrow raised up to us and a boy,  a little older than Ericka, standing behind her with a gun. I glance down to see a girl dead on the ground. She can't be older than the other kids around her. "Well that would explain a lot of shit." Ericka is smiling now and I'm pretty sure Canada could tell she thought the older boy was cute. Jesus, she's just like her father. This seemed to only piss the other girl off more, as she never lowered her weapon. Turns out I wasn't the only one who noticed this because, Ericka, was now trying to reason with her.
"Okay, calm the fuck down and put the goddamn bow down." We stood there for a minute as the girl didn't even flinch. "Okay then, never mind. Look we're  just going to go-" She started backing away before abruptly stopping at the other girls words. "Wait! Please don't go." Her eyes look soft now as she slowly lower the weapon. She's scared. I know how it feels to be alone. The one person I've ever loved told me to stay put with his niece while he went to go get his brother we waited for three days before establishing that they weren't coming back. I looked back up at her as I noticed for the first time how  truly terrified she was. "Do you have some sort of camp or something?" She had a questioning tone to her voice as if she expected us to throw her to the curb. Before I could answer Ericka chimed in, "We're always moving, but you can stay with us until we get there only if you tell us you're names." She shyly smiled and nodded as if to except her offer. "I'm Rainella, and this is my brother Ryan." She frowns and turns to the very dead teen on the ground. "That, was Mia." I flash her a sweet smile trying to cheer the girl up again. "That's Ericka and you can call me Ana. Guess you're with us now."
Walking through the forest I can hear Ericka striking up a conversation with the new comers, before the young girl Rainy jogs over to me. "Hey Ana, earlier you said something about getting someplace. Now, where exactly is someplace?" If there is anything I've learned from Ericka its that children never stop asking questions. Never.   "That is certainly to question."  I say pulling my axe out of the walkers skull. "If you must know child, we are heading towards DC." She looks at me again with the questioning look. "Washington? Why would we go there? And why did you call me child, I'm fourteen." She says with a stubborn tone. "You ask too many questions dear."  I laugh as Rainy rolls her eyes at me. A smile forms on my face as I finally see a clearing in the many trees. Walking towards it I think I hear a roamer or two. I exit the almost suffocating woods, my smile quickly falls as I realize just how many roamers reside out of the trees.

___________

  "Please! Someone please, help me!!"
*Bang*
His lifeless body falls to the cold hard ground as his wife sits in the corner crying. I walking over to her as she pleads for her life knowing that nothing is going to save her. Even if I don't kill her someone will, or something. Because no matter what happens or who you are, everyone dies.
