Rainy's POV
________

Pocket scrabble? Jeez, that sounds boring. We've been staying in the house for about a week now, and I have to say, the people who lived her before we came along must have been the most boring people alive. Today, Ryan and Ericka are going to go gather supplies whilst Ana and I setting up what she calls a 'water filter'. Currently I'm snooping around this house looking for more ammo for Ericka's gun. The girl refuses to even try out my bow, I mean sure she'll use knives, but she honestly prefers guns more than anything. I feel around under the bed until I feel a small chest, pulling it out I realize it's a safe. I go outside to the backyard and grab a brick from the ground, walking back inside I make my way to the back bedroom and crouch down by the safe and hit the the lock on it until it falls off. I open the safe and am greeted by the unmistakable smell of gunpowder. I look inside and to see two pistols and enough ammunition to shoot up an entire school. I grab the contents of the of the once locked chest and hurry towards the living room. "You'll never guess what I just found." I say rushing into the once vacant room. "Me too," Ericka says following me in shortly after. "You can go first  Ericka." I say to the older girl. She  pulls out a deck of cards with a grin spread wide across her face. "Well," I begin as I breakout into a fit of laughter. "As much fun as we can have with that, mine could actually help us." I say pulling out all that I've found in the poorly locked safe. Her smile becomes wider revealing just how aw struck she really is by my wonderfully amazing discovery in the master bedroom. "Oh my god, but how did you, where did you, thank you so much Rainella!" I laugh as she stutters with the words she's trying to find. Suddenly my brother walks into the living room with both his backpack and Ericka's in hand. He turns towards the girl we all know he adores, "Are you ready to go, I plan on us being able to get back here before the sun goes down, it's much easier to gather supplies in broad daylight rather than in the middle of the night." I watch as she picks up the bag Ryan just placed on the ground and fills it full of all the guns and ammunition I had found only moments before, then she slips the backpack onto her shoulders and they continue out the door leaving me alone in the house. I wait a minute before following them out in order to help Ana with the water filter parts that we had found the day before.

Ryan's POV
________

We've been walking around for three and a half hours, an I must say we haven't gotten shit on this trip. Ericka and I did however, find a rifle, but it's outta bullets. Joy. Currently we're in the forest not far from the little house we're staying at, on our way back.
*snap*
I jerk my head around and am faced with a smiling Ericka. I frown at her and began to place my gun back into the holster in which I drew it from and laugh at her. We continue down our path until suddenly a knife comes flying between our faces and lands on the tree behind us. I look up to see two people about our age maybe younger. "Now now, me and my brother don't want anyone to get hurt here, oh wait, yes we do." The girl smiles in my direction before turning to what I can only assume is her twin brother. "Knock him out Max, we only need the one." She holds a cloth up to Ericka's mouth as she begins to struggle, then she drops to the hard cold forest floor. I reach for my weapon but quickly realize that it isn't there. I look down at where it once was then back at them. "Looking for this?" The boy asks holding up my gun. "Don't worry, she'll be fine, you both will." He jesters towards Ericka's unconscious body. There grinning faces were the last thing I saw before I felt something smash against my face, an then everything became black.

Ana's POV
_______

They were supposed to be home hours ago, it's pitch black outside and they are nowhere to be found. I'm starting to worry. The door flies open and Rainy and I both jump to our feet. Ryan comes running over to us as he hugs his younger sister tightly. I look around for Ericka but can't find her, then I begin to panic, "Where is she?" He looks up at me briefly before staring at the ground. "They took her, two kids came out of nowhere and took her, they where all by themselves, they just took her." I could feel my eyes begin to tear up at this point, "They just took her? Where exactly were you?" He looks stunned by my words. "They were smart about it we never stood a chance Ana." I think for a minute, before knowing exactly what to do. Earlier on in the week we found the camp of the people who shot the flare two weeks ago along with the camper, we didn't disturb them, nor did we even make our presence known. But now we need there help, tomorrow we're going to leave first thing in the morning to there camp, maybe they have answers.
