"Favriote color, go!"
It had been only three days
but she and him had grown attached
despite the past."Green," she said.
He laughed, and took a gummy bear out her hands. They were at the park
Watching Rowan play
With the other kids."See that girl there?" He whispered
Pointing to a girl that was Rowans age."Rowan has a crush on her."
Her first thought
was to squeal.but instead,
she grinned.Rowan walked up to her
and smiled
she stuck her tongue outRowan laughed
she giggled."Rowans birthday is tommorrow,
can you invite her?"She didn't even question why he couldn't do it.
She just nodded, and got up."Hi, what's your name?"
the girl looked up
and Amelia was taken aback
by the Child's eyes.Sparkling ocean,
were the first words
to describe them."Chrissy!" the girl piqued.
Amelia grinned.
"Do you know where your mommy or daddy is?"
She pointed to a mom
who looked a little bit
too strung up.Suddenly she realized why he didn't want to ask.
But Amelia stuck a smile on,
and walked over. And then of course the mother glared at Amelia so powerfully, Amelia was forced to turn tail.
When she walked back,
Roman looked like he was about to piss while laughing. It wasn't an eventful day
but for some reason
that made laughing with Roman
even better.
