Ch. 4 Be like you?

I am back with chapter four guys. Yayy me for actually remembering to update. (Not) sorry for making you guys wait.

Laurens p.o.v

We spent the rest of the day around the house. After our talk, I gave her a tour of not just the house but also the grounds around the house. From the back of the house it was maybe 20 yards till you reached the forest. So the backyard was really just for gatherings and things like that.

Camila never left my side. I knew things wouldn't be easy for us but I also knew I loved her enough to not give up. I only hoped that she felt the same.

After the tour we sat inside and watched tv with the resg of the pack. Camila was on my right and Bea was on my left with her head in my lap. She was the youngest at 16. She was a senior cause she skipped two grades. She was my little genius. I treated her like my own kid even though I was only 21 because I k ew I was the closest thing to a parent Bea had. I had found her when she was only 12. She was alone in the woods. The dead bodies of her parents beside her. She was crying and hurt. I was 17 at the time but I knew she needed me. I approached her and she was scared at first but when she realized I only wanted to help her she instantly clung to me and we've been inseparable ever since. She was young and needed to be protected.

Bea seemed to take to camila really well. Especially after learning that Camz was my mate and our Luna. I guess Bea saw it as an opportunity to have a second parent per say. Camila didn't seem to mind. She ran her hand through Bea's hair while we watched tv. She assimilated into the pack so effortlessly. Everyone loved her.

"Laur?" I heard Camz say

"Yeah?" I answered

"What happens after today? Like what happens to me? To us?" She asked worriedly

"We stick together Camz. I'll be around as long as you want me to be. The rest of the pack too. Even when you go home tomorrow I'll still be with you. No matter what." I said sincerely

"I love you Laur." She said softly

"I love you too Camz." I said back before kissing her temple softly

... Later that night in bed ...

"Hey Lauren?" Camz asked lifting her head from my chest

"Yeah Camz."

"What would you say if I said I wanted to be like you?" She asked

"I'd love nothing more than for you to be like me. But there's more to it than just becoming a wolf. You're my mate. And since I'm the Alpha, that makes you the Luna. Which gives you responsibility like me. I run the pack but as the Luna, you run the pack too. Especially if im not around. You're basically a mother figure to them all. And they will all listen to you, given that you are the Luna. Are you sure you want that responsibility?" I asked at the end

"Lauren, I love you. And the pack. I want to be able to do everything with you. Of course I want this. I know thinga aren't going to be easy. I know that I have a lot to learn too. But I want this." Camila finished talking and just looked into my eyes

"Alright," I said," when do you start school?"

"I start in 2 days." Camz said sadly

"I can change you now and you'll be okay by then but you'd have to stay here until then so that I can watch you? Or I can change you at the end of your first week of school and you can stay with me that weekend?" I explained

"I want to do it now. My mom won't care that I stay here. She'll just want to meet you soon so that she knows who I'm spending so much time with." Camz said
