I woke up startled as I felt a very naked Octavia next to me. 

Something spoke to me from my mind. That should be Jason.....

Stop it! That is nonsense! He doesn't love me, never have, never will. Neither will I.

Oh come on, don't lie to yourself! he's your mate for crying out loud!

Who do you think you are to tell me what to do! I'm lying right next to my mate! She's the one who will love me like a REAL mate does. Not Jason. My voice was dripping with venom as I said his name.

Are you sure? How do you know that she won't betray you in the end? She does have a decision to make.....

And she'll choose the right one.

Or so you hope. You are so blind, it hurts to look at you. Seriously!?! Have you not seen her wings? Why do you think they are pitch-black, not white? Hmmm? Do you think it is just a coincidence?

I tried to stop them (I'm guessing they're female by their voice) dead in their tracks but they just went over it like it was a little bump in the road.

Well, it's not. Do you wanna know why she has dark wings?
