Alright, so I left you guys off at the part where she is now moving on from dealing with Lucifer to now deal with Jason. Keep in mind that she is very weak since she used all of her energy on trying to save Lucifer so what, exactly is she going to do with Jason?

This should be interesting. Enjoy!

Recap:

Taking a closer look at the guy, I realized with a jolt that it's Matthew. He bows his head in respect to me. When he looks up at me, I can see guilt and sadness in his eyes. "I volunteer to take him," he said in a small, almost vulnerable voice.

Taking a deep breath, I thank him. As he gently and carefully takes Lucifer in his arms and flies away, I turn towards where a broken and bloody Jason lays. Time to take care of him.

Now in Chapter 13:

I take my time walking over. Why rush over to an enemy, no matter how beaten up they are. You never know; they could be faking their pain until you get just close enough for them to attack.

Demons and angels alike silently watched my every move. They were anticipating what exactly I was going to do. In my weakened state I couldn't do much; everyone knows that.

So what exactly was I going to do? I didn't have a plan; I wasn't expecting Lucifer to be here to cause more mayhem than there already was. I was expecting Jason to buckle after our attacks and surrender. That hasn't happen and probably won't for a good while. I also wanted him to promise that he will never even look my way ever again. That, I can try my best to make possible.

When I am about 10 yards away from him I can see that he is hurt pretty bad; not just physically but emotionally as well. Three yards away, I see he is still breathing. Three feet away, I stop and don't dare to get closer.

"J-Jason, look at me." I tried to keep my voice as steady as possible, but failed miserably. I couldn't even hide the fact that my hands were shaking uncontrollably.

He barely stirred. It was as if the actual thought of moving was painful.

"Jason, look at me," I repeated, more sure of my words and upcoming actions.

"Leave me alone." It wasn't much louder than a whisper. Those three little words told me just how much I had hurt him. For the first time, I genuinely felt bad; it made me realize just how small and fragile he was. He pretended to be a big bad and scary demon when he really was a small and emotional fuck who has definitely been hurt before.

It broke my heart.

"Jason, please. We need to end this-"

One moment he was laying on the ground, crippled and unable to move; the next, he was in full demon form standing a mere few inches from her. She could feel the pure, burning fury that fell from him in waves. "End what exactly, Tabatha? End my life? Because that would be much appreciated," he hissed through gritted teeth. His eyes were burning into hers; she could see all the pain and misery in the endless darkness. "Oh wait, you've already done that. Maybe not physically, but emotionally, never mind mentally? You have me screwed." I couldn't tell what frightened me more. The fact that he seemed so calm despite the anger rolling off him or the anger and hurt in his eyes and what he could possibly do to me if he were to unleash it.

He tore his gaze from mine as tears started to fill his eyes.  Slowly shaking his head, he walked past me. There wasn't anything I could do except stand there like a startled dumb ass.

Stop it, you have someone else to think about! Forget him. Mentally shaking myself, I looked around the clearing, searching for the one destined to be mine forever. She was nowhere to be found. Everyone who was on Jason's side were walking away to go back wherever they came from. Well, all except for the few angels who decided to be on their side; they now had nowhere to go. They followed aimlessly anyways.

Matthew seems to be the only one who regrets his decision. Honestly, at this point I couldn't care less which side he officially takes. It isn't up to me anyways; the Big Man Upstairs had to decide his fate.

"Tabatha? What does this mean?" A quiet but strong voice came from behind me. I turn to see the voice belongs to Adeline, Gabriel's daughter.

I don't want to lie to her, but telling her the war was over...wasn't exactly the truth. "I don't know," I told her with a shrug, "but I hope it means peace is finally coming." Peace meaning no more war. No more evil attacking humans. No more anything except just peace and harmony.

I hope this makes everything run smoother.

Warning: the next chapter is going to be at the point of view of an unknown person. Can you figure out who it is before they are revealed? The person may have been talked about already or not. I won't make it impossibly hard to guess, but I am not going to make it easy. Let's get on
