it's been two years.

two years and his room in the dorms had remained untouched, the CEO never really finding a reason to go in until now.

not a soul has been in there, yet it still felt like it was full of life, filled to the brim with Namjoon.

the CEO had called the boys, delivering the unwanted news. he was bringing in new rookies, and needed the free space of the dorm.

the six boys stood Infront of the door, sadness filling their beings.

“who's going to open it?”
jungkook asked, voice deeper and huskier now that he had grown into himself.

taehyung pushed his way forward, forcing his feet to work and putting a veiny hand on the old door knob.

the boys held their breath as he twisted, getting the door open with a slight push. they all remained in the hall as the door swung open, emotions flooding their faces.

it was like a teenagers room. there was stuffed Ryan's everywhere, a messy computer desk, a pile of clothes on a chair in the corner, a wall full of pictures, and posters on every wall.

as soon as he took sight of the room, yoongi put his head in his hands, little sobs escaping his lips.

it was too much. it was so much that he cried out in the hall for thirty minutes before he joined the others inside, boxes in hand.

hoseok sat on the bed, palms spread over the neatly made blankets and looks of pure sorrow rid his expression.

“i haven't been here since the funeral.”
he choked out, closing his eyes as he took one of the many stuffed animals into his arms.
“he really liked these.”

seokjin slowly took down the dozens of pictures one by one, glancing at each one sadly.
“he really grew over the years.”
he mumbled quietly to himself, taking deep breaths so he wouldn't tear up.
he took a few more down before he gave up, taking a seat on the floor to spread the pictures out.

“i'm keeping these.” seokjin informed, and yoongi looked over his shoulder.

“wait, can I have the one in the corner? with me and him?”
yoongi asked and seokjin nodded, separating that picture from the rest.

jimin stood in front of the closet, not sure if he wanted to go inside or just stare at the doodles that were on the long mirror on the door.

he sighed, forcing himself inside. he was immediately embrace with Namjoon's very distinctive scent, a mix of cinnamon and lavender. he switched on the light and grimaced.

there were clothes everywhere, things messily thrown about giving no space to walk. the shelves we're cluttered with notebooks and folders, and lots of computer equipment.

he maneuvered his way through the mess, picking up a familiar hoodie.
“so he did  take my hoodie!” jimin exclaimed, holding it up to examine it.

he tucked it under his arm, going through the rest of the clothing to find these he wanted to keep. he was mid way through Namjoon's undergarments, he found something very unexpected.
