}Ain't No Baby Mama{
=======================
Bentley stood outside the door on my front porch.
"Hey, your mom asked if I would come over. She said you were by yourself until late tonight. She didn't tell you?" he asked after his explanation. He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his grey sweats.
He had on black socks and a pair of black slides on.
His sweatshirt was also black and his hood was pulled over his head.
I didn't see his bike next to my truck and figured he walked. There was only one house between us anyway.
"No she didn't. Come in." I said opening the door wider letting him in. He was immediately being sniffed out by the dogs. Chewy was jumping up his pant leg and Bristol's nose was all over sniffing.
I saw a smiled lift to his lips as he pulled the hood of his sweat shirt down to show his unruly hair.
Bones watched from a distance, got bored and went into the living room.
I shut the door and immediately switched arms with Alex. I supported him with my other hand. I swayed my hips a bit and bounced him as I made my way to the living room hoping Benltey was following me. Alex had started screaming as Bentley walked in the door.
I stepped in the middle of the huge area carpet in front of the couch bouncing and moving side to side to get him to stop bursting my eardrums..
"I'm so sorry." I said over his loud screaming.
I maneuvered him to have his head right under my chin. I held him close with my right hand on his back and my left arm under his bum.
"It's fine." Bentley replied giving me a small smile.
After a couple minutes the screaming stopped to little fussing noises and then he was silent as I rubbed his back and bounced while swaying back and forth.
"You're good with him."
I was a bit startled by Bentley's voice and opened my eyes I didn't even realize I had closed. I was facing the couch looking right at him as he scratched behind Bristol's ears.
I guess I just get in the zone.
Chewy being the protective one was laying as close to me on the carpet as he possible without being stepped on.
Bones was sleeping at the foot of one side of the u couch.
"Yeah." I just said quietly back looking down and gently kissing the top of Alex's head keeping the pace of my swaying.
"Soo are they yours...?" he said uncomfortably and I didn't know if I should laugh or be offended.
Like wtf. I ain't no baby mama!
I just smiled a bit knowing if I laughed Alex would be screaming until his lungs ran out of air.
"No. this is Alex. He is my little brother." I said softly swaying a little more while I walked to his little swing.
"I would let you hold him but he has been slightly fussy tonight." I said my back facing him as I set an almost sleeping Alex in his swing and put in on a slow setting that just swayed him back and forth like I was doing. I grabbed a light grey blanket from the basket next to his swing and tucked it around him a bit. I rubbed his head a little bit as I slowly stood up and back up a couple steps. After seeing he would be okay I made my way back to the couch.
