{Holy Water Drinking}
=======================
"Mom! I sprained my ankle! I'm capable of getting a blanket!" I groaned as mom tucked in the cover around me.
We had gotton home late last night and I went straight to bed since I didn't have a concussion. I woke up at eight this morning and it was only noon. I felt like I was being suffocated slowly and painfully.
"Give her a break Mace." Bentley said as mom left the room after asking me a million question about how I was.
"Yeah. Did your mother mix your splenda into your coffee this morning?" I grumbled grabbing the remote to choose something else to watch.
"You got me there." he grumbled back leaning back into the couch cushions.
He got here about two hours ago and I was just waiting for him to jump up and leave again with no explanation.
He put his phone on silent and left it in the kitchen but me and him both could still hear it buzzing on the granite. It was nice that he was trying to not be distracted for me though.
I was propped in my normal seat with the foot rest up and like a thousand pillows under my ankle to keep it elevated or some crap.
"Look it's only two to like three weeks. I think you will survive." He said just as Alex started crying in his swing.
"Can you get him for me please. I need to do something. Quick before mom gets him!" I said leaning forward and shoving Bentley's shoulder to emphasize how fast he needed to go.
He pushed himself up form the couha dn speed walked across the carpet but when he got to the swing he froze looking down at Alex.
"He won't break. Grab him under his armpits and hold him against your chest." I said and watched as he continued to watch him scream for a second before carefully bending over and lifted him out of the swing. Alex stopped his screaming as soon as Bentley rested him on his chest.
I don't think I have seen anyone move that fast but being as careful as possible at the same time.
He walked back faster than before holding my brother tight to his chest.
Bentley quickly handed him over to me and it seemed like all the stress in the world left his body when his hands were off of Alex.
I quickly cradled him and put my finger slightly in his mouth before asking Bentley to get his pacifier from his swing which he did quickly.
I rubbed the rubber against his lips causing him to latch on immediately.
"How old is he?" Bentley said sitting next to me. His shoulder brushed mine as he leaned in to look at Alex.
"Ten months." I said simply watching as Alex's body completely calmed down and watched Bentley with wide blue eyes.
"Wow." Bentley said silently and I guessed I wasn't supposed to hear it. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see Bentley looking at Alex the same way. His eyes were slightly wider and a tiny smile played on his lips.
"Macie! You better not have picked him up yourself!" I guess being we were both caught up in Alex. Well Bentley was caught up in Alex. I was secretly watching bright green eyes that lost their fog a bit. Not the bright blue eyes on my brother. I didn't see Alex's delicate bleach blonde hair.
I noticed how Bentley had a slight callic in his dark thick hair on his right temple.
Alex was whisked out of my arms before my mouth could even open and when it did it hung there.
