"I swear it's a good one this time!" Jimin tried his luck for nth time, suggesting ideas of things to do for Yoongi to be able to finally live like a normal teenage boy. But the thing was that Yoongi was too much of a wimp and turned down all the ideas from skinny dipping to getting a tattoo, Jimin had received a simple reply of 'no' with every offer.
Yoongi sat and waited for the younger boy's suggestion and waiting to turn it down as before,"Okay Yoongi how about we dye your hair?"
The idea didn't seem so bad or dangerous and if Yoongi didn't like the colour he would be able to change it or shave his hair...he was hoping the latter option wouldn't have to occur, "I like the idea,so what colour?"
Despite Yoongi accepting to this change of hair colour he didn't want to do anything drastic, he just wanted there to be a subtle change that few would notice as he didn't want to attract attention to himself that much, "Well I don't know about you Yoongi but I'm going ginger!"
The older screwed his face at the thought of espresso-haired boy going ginger he didn't know if the couple would suit him at all,"Jimin why don't you go for something safer like I don't know...ash blonde," But Yoongi's safe suggestion was laughed at causing him to frown, he didn't want the younger to do a hair colour so bright and unusual that he would regret dying it...in all honesty he was just looking out for Jimin but the boy he was looking out for didn't want to stay safe.
"Look Yoongi you told me you want to live like a normal teenage boy,right?" The questioned boy nodded and opened his mouth to start about the dangers of dying hair saying that it could lead to baldness and an irritated scalp but those words were cut off,
"So if you want to live like a 'normal teenage boy' you have to take risks and not think about the consequences no matter how extreme,okay?" The older sighed and forced himself to comply with Jimin if he wanted to get started on being a normal teenage boy for once in his life.
"Okay Jimin let's go get the hair dye, shall we?" Picking up their bags and leaving the untouched homework at the younger's desk bothered left to go to the nearest pharmacy to pick up the chemical dye.
Reaching the pharmacy the duo being tagged along with a younger sister searched for the aisle that read 'Hair & Styling'. Finally stumbling upon the aisle filled with hair dyes from natural browns-chestnut,espresso,brunettes,coffee brown to bright neon colours of blues,greens and blues.
Jimin's eyes lit up at the different colours eyeing each box of chemicals as if they were boxes of presents,"Oh my gosh look Yoongi there's green this would suit you so well," the boy waved the box in front of Yoongi's face but Yoongi was stuck on only dying his hair black and black only.
"I told you before Jimin I'm dying my hair black and that's final," the statement made Jimin pout something he never did around Yoongi or the others.
The pout on the younger boy stuck to his face as he picked up two boxes dye quickly off the shelf which was next to the ginger hair dye suited for Jimin. Both boys didn't talk to each other until they had reached the premises of Jimin's bathroom where one had already had their hair processed with the the ginger hair dye and the results were outstanding for an amateur. Now it was Yoongi's turn and he was scared that the hair dying process would go wrong and he'd be left with option of having to cut his hair to save himself the embarrassment.
"Jimin I swear if you mess this up I'll back hand you so hard," Yoongi was sat on the toilet seat with an old towel wrapped around him and half of his head already being processed with the hair dye Jimin had picked up.
Jimin didn't reply with words, only a hum in reply to Yoongi was received as he was too busy concentrating on not fucking up the older' hair for his sake. Silence took over them once again and Yoongi looked up at the boy who was towering over him, he focused on the way Jimin's freshly dyed wet hair tickled his eyelashes that made him blink and wiggle his nose in the cutest way possible Yoongi found. Focusing on the way Jimin's tongue was stuck out in concentration and every once in a while running across his bottom lip to revive it from dryness. And finally focusing on the way Jimin's breath would his face when he got to the top of Yoongi's hair, Jimin's warm breath would cascade over his face with every breath out and Yoongi tried to mimic his rate of breathing.
Yoongi spent too long analysing every small movement Jimin did that he didn't realise, Jimin had taken off the gloves as he was finished helping the older,"There you go Hyungs all done now we wait..." Jimin picked up the empty box of hair dye to read the instructions that advised help and precautions with dying hair,
"Uhm we wait forty-five minutes?" Jimin said the last bit unsure of what he was reading when the instructions were printed in black and white ink. It was clear to both the boys that Jimin didn't know how long Yoongi was supposed to keep the dye in for, but sadly Yoongi decided to trust the younger.
The younger who had trouble knowing that the number '5' and 'five' were the same thing, the younger who still used his fingers to count rather than using mental math, the younger who didn't even know how much money he was supposed to hand to the cashier at the pharmacy. This younger who had some thing called-
"Jimin what the actual fuck," the younger's thoughts were cut off when he went to the upstairs toilet to find an angry...a pissed boy with not black hair but mint green hair standing in front of the mirror.
"What the hell,"
"No not what the hell,what the fuck,Jimin!"
