Not edited...as always :D

You could feel the awkwardness in the air, both boys were sat opposite each other focusing ever so carefully at their bowls of instant ramen, they had bought some from the convenience store they had been sat outside of.

Hoseok had suggested to go somewhere to eat so they could resolve any issues between the two, but all they had done was fill themselves with the unhealthy meal , trying to avoid any conversation.

This went on for around ten minutes, only the sound of them slurping in hot noodles and chewing on them with a stiff swallow, had now led both of them to the bottom of their bowls. They both realised that they had finished but still sat, quietly, avoiding any starter conversations to break the ice.

They looked at each other when they thought that the other's eyes were placed idling something else, and when they caught each other's gaze, the one who suggested this meeting started to chuckle nervously and felt obliged to speak up,

"So?" he started, waiting for Yoongi to also begin any form of communication between the two.

"So," that was all he said.

Hoseok pursed his lips at the tension that he had added, aimlessly tapping his fingers against the table he decided to try speaking up again, and so did Yoongi.

"I've missed you," they said at the same time, shocking each other that these words they were going to say to each other.

Again they tried to speak but every time Hoseok opened his mouth, so did Yoongi and it became a funny scene but also stressful since they both wanted to get their thoughts out.

Giving up Hoseok sat back into the chair and let his older speak his mind,

"Hoseok...Hobi I've missed you a lot, and I know what I did was stupid-and you have no need to feel guilty in this situation because I was the one who initiated all the hurt that has been going on between us two, and I'm glad that you decided to be the mature one out of both us to try apologise," his breaths were short after the long ramble and he felt bad for staring at the table during the whole apology, as he was too afraid to see how his friend would react.

A sigh left the taller ones mouth and he chucked slightly to himself,

"Hyung...I'm not mad at you anymore, and to be honest I never was," the statement left Yoongi confused.

"But you punched me....like really hard?!" but it made sense as to why Hoseok did it, Hoseok wasn't mad at Yoongi, he was hurt, hurt and upset that his best friend someone who he saw as a brother, abandoned him for his neighbour who he met a few months ago.

"I get it...you weren't mad, you were hurt and I'm the only reason and explanation for making you feel that way," guilt was seeping deeper and further inside Yoongi, he couldn't believe he had done everything that had ruined their friendship for the past few weeks.

"Look it just wasn't you being an idiot, I was also jealous, jealous of Jimin, how much time you spent with him and I just wanted to be in his place," Hoseok tried to laugh but his throat caught him off guard and he felt his voice crack a bit, giving away how hurt he was underneath.

"I just," he tried to form more words, more words to stop him from thinking, to distract him from running over the whole broken friendship between him and Yoongi. Because he knew that if he did, even think of how the whole mishap occurred he would burst out into tears.

Yoongi reached out a hand across the table as if he were reaching out to give the younger any source of comfort,
"Hey, love there's no need to cry right now, I just want you to forgive me because I feel terrible for how I treated you,"

The nickname caught Hoseok off gaurd, love, he had never Yoongi use such a nickname before, he only remembers how Ms.Min would call either Yoongi or himself that. And that didn't even make him feel happy, Ms.Min used that nickname for family and Yoongi used it with him...was Yoongi family-zoning him.

The thought of Hoseok ever being with the older was officially brought to a stop and this crushed him even more. He could feel his chest tightening as all his thoughts came collapsing on him,

"Yoongi-?" He tried speaking but his tears started to blur his vision and out came the salt water liquid from his eyes.

"Hey," Yoongi frowned at the younger but hid it from him subtly as Hoseok would've gotten the wrong Ik impression. Pulling Hoseok's chair, which bare in mind was quite heavy, he scooted it closer to his own, like as if to make their bond in this moment more closer and intimate.

He wrapped his arms around Hoseok with slight struggle seeming as despite him having broader shoulders than the other, his arms were not of equal length to the shoulders to wrap around.

"Hoseok-" he wanted to console the sobbing boy but Hoseok wasn't allowing it, he continuously kept bombarding him with questions after the other to test their friendship.

"Hyung?" Yoongi glanced down at Hoseok who was trying to control his breathing but he could however feel the younger's heart pounding beneath the clothing and skin.

"Why don't you love me like I love you?" Hoseok had a grip on Yoongi's hand as he'd been slowly caressing it during his sob.

Yoongi tried and tried to think of an answer which would satisfy the younger, however, the only way he could tell him that he loved him was of their platonic friendship and brotherly love. He just didn't see them moving from cuddling up to each other to end up with kisses, or to wrestling under blankets. He didn't see them moving from watching a simple movie to sharing kisses in between. Yes, he may see the two growing old together, he saw them moving into the same dorm room and when they would get enough money, rent an apartment near by the university. And once they graduated from university he saw them moving into the same neighbourhood, to become each other's next door neighbours and a few months from there he saw either of them attending each other's wedding.

"Hobi, I wish I could say I love you in the way that you want me to but," he sighed and removed his gaze from the younger to focus on the neon lights of the store, " I just don't see it happening and I want to love you like that it's just-"

"You don't want to offer me false feelings...I understand Yoongi and please don't apologise, it's not your fault you don't return the same feelings as my own," Hoseok looked up from his hyung's lap to stare into the coffee eyes that were looking down on him. It was kind of funny how just a few months ago it was Hoseok in that position, looking out for Yoongi'.

"It's okay Yoongi cause I already know who you're in love with," and small smile edged itself onto Hoseok's face.

"I don't love anyone Hoseok, shut up," Yoongi slapped the forehead of the younger who also attempted to slap the other back.

"You do, and I can easily tell how." Hoseok said to the other smugly like as if he wanted Yoongi to pry the answer out of him knowing he had the upper hand in this situation.

Yoongi tried to look unbothered by shrugging his shoulders with an "I don't care," and refused to look at his friend's face who he knew had the most epic smirk plastered onto his face, which somehow make him get annoyed and then end up asking him.

Yoongi's lips pursed to the side and his eyes didn't focus on the younger who's head was placed on his lap, but somehow he could still see Hoseok trying not to laugh at his friend cracking away.

"Okay fine tell me..." and he saw a smile edge its way onto the younger's face.

"It's all in the eyes Yoongi, all in the eyes,"
