"Finally you shade under the graph to represent x can be from -1 to +5 ," These words were being spoken by none other than the year 13 Maths teacher confusing the minds of more than twenty students.
"Hey Yoongi," Hoseok tried to peer over the shorter's shoulder, attempting to get the answer for the last question but this only resulted into Yoongi covering his paper with his arm.
"Go away!" It amazed Hoseok how Yoongi was so good maths despite having to use braille writing for majority of his life, Yoongi had the ability to figure out the complicated maths question before everyone else and only making one to two silly mistakes he would spot out himself.
Hoseok pouted at his friend while poking Yoongi's side with the end of his pencil in order to get his attention,"Come on Yoongi," the taller called out to his friend who simply shook his head with every plead,
"I'll buy you fish cakes on the way home,"and although the offer sounded tempting, Yoongi still shook his head but now with a heavy heart as he knew he was giving up one of his true loves. Fish cakes were a favourites of Yoongi and Hoseok knew this that's why he continued to tempt him with savoury foods such as mandu,hotteok,gimbap and,
"Lamb skrewers," this was Hoseok's last offer and he hoped the older would've chosen the previous options as his wallet was now going to be empty from having to treat his friend for the last answer. As much as Yoongi wanted to shake his in denial, the twitching of his fingers and the slight jutting out of his tongue to compose himself gave away how much he wanted to give into Hoseok's offer...
"Okay sold!" Yoongi had slammed his fist on the table as soon as he had given into his temptations while handing over his paper with the obviously correct answer. But however he had caught the attention of his other classmates and the teacher's,
"Mr.Min this isn't an auction room compose yourself,"
Embarrassed Yoongi just nodded his head restraining himself from making any more unwanted sound to disturb his classmates.
"Okay class we'll go through the first three questions, Jimin can you tell us the first answer?" All eyes were on Jimin and it was visible to everyone he didn't have an answer to the teacher's question,
"Sorry sir, but I don't have the answer," His reply shocked not only the teacher but everyone else in the class because it was one of the easiest questions and being in your last year of secondary one must know how to do it, after it being sung in your ear for over eight years.
"Well Jimin when multiplying decimals, depending on-" The rest of the words spoken sounded like a complete different language to the younger who just sat staring at the teacher's mouth moving. "Understand?"
Jimin had completely forgotten about the teacher explaining to him, as he had gotten distracted by his fingers which seemed more interesting than his surroundings,"Oh uhm yeah"
The uncertainty was clear in his voice and the person upfront teaching was finding it difficult to explain,"Jimin stay behind after lesson please,"
The exhaustion in the teacher's voice sounded out to everyone causing the younger boy to tense up at the mention, as being called out like that was quite embarrassing for him,"Uhm sir I don't think I can-"
But the interruption of Jimin made the teacher sigh under his breath,"Mr.Park this isn't a request,"
"Sorry,"
The rest of the lesson went on with the teacher picking on Jimin for the answers that he clearly didn't know, and whenever the teacher explained to him he was never able to concentrate as his fingers or students passing by the window caught his attention quickly. This all made Yoongi become quite concerned for his friend as he knew this behaviour wasn't normal.
The sound of the bell rang through the class signalling the end of the school day for all students...apart from Jimin who was forced to stay behind with the teacher.
As all of them made their way outside to depart for their homes,after school clubs or detentions, Yoongi being his slow self was the last to leave the room trying to pack away his stationary and books neatly in his bag. His ears caught the hushed conversation between Jimin and teacher as Jimin tried to convince him to let him go home as he had something important,
"I'm sorry Jimin but whatever's at home can wait this will benefit you," and this earned a frustrated sigh from the boy who was being denied of his request. Tears of frustration started pricking at his eyes as he tried to keep his temper down, he looked around the room trying to calm himself when suddenly his eyes landed on Yoongi's who was stood there pretending his own business,
Jimin walked up to the older and desperation was seeping through him,"Hey Yoongi can you uhm p-please go to my house and take care of my younger sibling?" His eyes refused to meet the older's, more focused on his small fingers and shoes as he was embarrassed asking the other for a favour.
Yoongi was shocked and immediately agreed, the desperation from the younger sounded in his voice when he asked the older for this favour and he couldn't refuse to be of help, "Of course Jiminie there's no need to be shy," The older gave him a soft smile in order to calm down his nerves and simply worked as the younger returned one as well causing his eyes to crescent.
"Thank you so much hyung, I owe you big time," the younger's mind now felt at ease as his worries had now died down. The older didn't say anything other than nod with a smile and leave the younger and the teacher to get on with the extra lessons being provided.
"Oh yeah and hyung?" The older stopped in his tracks making eye contact with the younger, waiting for him to continue speaking.
"Jiminie as a nickname?"
Yoongi blushed as he realised that Jimin had caught onto the nickname he had given him,"Yeah do you not like it, because I can stop-"
The younger chuckling stopped the other in the middle of his sentence,
"Hyung I like it,"

Look who has returned after almost 3 weeks. I know I'm sorry and terrible but I had writer's block plus I just finished my exams. So I'll be off school for 2 months so expect more consistent updates. So uhm yeah I'll go and leave you with this long and unnecessary chapter....also hoped you picked up the hints about Jimin.
