A PRAYER
Lord please guide my life through all the time
Hold my hand and show me your signs
Don't let me fall into the Devil's hand
But allow me to enter your holy land
This is my prayer to thee, my father
A prayer I will mention through the day
To serve as my guide and all I say
A prayer of a child, who is a descendant of Adam
A prayer to be ended with a smile and Amen
Something to make me proud and know I can
I hope this prayer will be heard
I hope it will be fulfilled, Oh Lord
I wish to end the day by your side
Without no harm, no fears and no change of mind
Like a child in her father's arms, so fond, so kind
As I approach and fulfill my dreams, stay
As I conquer it all and praise you all day
Guide me with your bright and holy light
Widen and enlighten my sight
So I can prepare myself for the flight
I say it again, Lord please hold my hand
Hear my prayer and show me your footprints in the sand
Feed my soul with your holiness
Please protect me from evil and don't bring me to the test
In your arms I lay in your hand I rest
