Dear Reader,
I hate what I've made of this story. I know it's only been a couple of chapters, but I hate what I've made of it. Let me explain. If you don't want to hear m explanation and simply want to hear what the future of this book will be, then skip the following paragraph.
I initially had two great ideas, and two very different female leads. However, I didn't trust myself to update the two books faithfully, always knowing that if I didn't like one a great deal more than the other, I'd hate them both and just end up deleting them. My horrible solution to this was to make a horrible mash up of the two books, which ended up with a plot line I hated, and a main character that contradicts herself so much. I was only a couple chapters in and writer's block already kicked in because Roxy stopped making sense to me because she wasn't just Roxy. She was two characters in one, and if I had continued writing, she would've probably ended up being like five.
I do want to go back to writing, and I know I can't write something I have no interest in. My solution is to take down the current chapters of Cookie Cutter as soon as I re write them, and I'll carry on Roxy's story from there. Once I do that, I will also publish the second character I badly incorporated into Roxy's storyline.
I also don't know how many of you care about this, but I've also decided to change my pen name. This fits who I am a lot more, and if you know me, it shouldn't be hard to figure out why I picked this name.
Love Always,
Amara Bulsara
