Chapter 3- planning

Bailee's POV:

Its been a year since Emily has been gone. Me , josh ,alex , and lena tried looking for her but we cant find her

Its devistating. Nothing is the same without our best friend. But from what josh and alex told us, it looked like she needed to go

But why not be able to keep in touch with us?

"Bailee are you here?" Mrs Susan asked bringing me back to reality

"What?... oh. Yeah.." i said almost zoning off again

Another thing.. ever since she left I've been zoning out and i cant concentrate
Constant thoughts about where could she be flood my brain... it gets annoying at times

Mrs Susan sighed and looked at me with sympathy in her eyes

She knows how we feel and she understands

She is like our classes second mother and we love her

"bailee" Mrs Susan once again brought me to reality

"im sorry...Yeah im here" i said and paid attention to the class

Emily's POV:

Im currently uploading my youtube video

I started youtube about a month after i left home. And life is so much better now. I have about 400k subscribers and im verified.

I live in a nice apartment not to far away from my old school and home

Speaking of school, i do online school

It was the best option considering i am always working and doing things

I haven't talked to Any of my friends but i have kept communication with my teacher Mrs Susan

We still keep in touch, she is the one who helped me get a job and start life by myself

I told her not to tell anyone about me and she told me she wouldn't, so i trust her

Once my video was finally posted i decided to change into some Pajamas even though its 6 pm

I mean cmon can you blame me? I have nothing to do so why not stay in pajamas?

As soon as i finish changing my phone starts ringing

'Mrs S' i read on the screen

"Hi Mrs Susan whats up?" I ask into the phone

"hey Emily i need to talk to you" She sighed

"yeah what happened?" I ask concerned

"The guys haven't been the same when you left, they always doze off in class and its getting worse Emily " Mrs susan explained

"give them encouragement. And dont worry, i didnt say i would never see them again. I have a plan. But its a lot to explain on the phone" i smiled even though she cant see it

"ohh i have time " i could tell she smiled by her voice

"how about we meet up at the ice cream place and we talk about it??" I said.

The ice cream place is the place i worked. The company is Mrs susans husbands and thats how they helped me out

"sure! Be there in 5 minutes. Bye!" She said and hung up

I groaned as i realized i have to change again.

*at the ice cream place*

"So what is this plan you are talking about" Mrs Susan told me sitting down

"Well, im doing well with my youtube channel and everything. But i left my best friends without an explanation , so i think i owe them an apology and an explanation " i said and licked my ice cream

Mrs Susan smiled widely "you know you are one special girl. Im proud of you" she said

"Thank you so much, but i wouldn't have been able to do much without your help" i laughed

She did the same

"So whats the plan" she asked

"Well.." i then proceeded to explain everything to her

*skip to 9pm*

Im back home and in pajamas- again - just scrolling through instagram

Mrs Susan was very excited about my plan to reunite with my friends. And she promised me she wouldnt say anything until that day

Im so excited!!
