Chapter 8: sick

2 days later

Zach's POV:

Me and the guys are awake eating breakfast but Emily still hasn't come out of her room.

Weird

"Zach check on Emily" Daniel said worriedly

I nodded and went to her room

I lightly knocked on the slightly open door and peeked my head inside

I heard a murmur from Emily

"Hey Em" i said getting inside

She doesn't look to well

"Hey Zach" she said with a raspy voice

"You dont feel well do you" i said and sat on her bed

She shook her head no

"Im sorry" she slowly pouted

"For what?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows "that i couldn't make breakfast today" she mumbled opening her eyes now

My eyes widen "oh my gosh don't be" i said rubbing her arm

She is so soft

She lightly smiled

"Ill take care of you today" i smiled to her

She was about to say something bit she started coughing loudly sitting up

I patted her back

She looked at me with sorry eyes

"No excuses, im staying, the guys will go out" i said

She nodded knowing she couldn't argue

"Ill be back" i said and went back to the kitchen where the guys were

"Is she ok?" Jack asked me

"No she is sick, so ill stay with her" i said

The guys nodded

Daniel started to speak

"when we go to the chinese place we will get her some soup or something" he said

"Yes please"

*after guys leave*

As im cleaning up the dishes i see Emily slowly walking whilst holding her head

"You shouldn't be standing up, go lay down and ill be there ok?" I told her softly

She is cute even when she is sick

She nodded taking a large glass and filling it up with water

She started drinking it

"Oh that makes me feel better my throat was so dry" she said taking a breath

I nodded

"Ill make you tea and some soup, so go lay down" i told her and she slowly walked away

Emily's POV:
God i feel like roadkill and my sheets are all wet from sweat

I feel disgusting but i still lay down due to feeling dizzy

I felt myself falling into a light sleep, but im still sort of awake

I feel Zach gently pick my up bridal style

I put my head in his chest

"Where are you taking me?" I murmured in his chest

"To the living room" he softly answered

I nodded slowly

He laid me down on something soft
I slowly looked around and was in awe

He put a bunch of duvets on the floor and a huge grey fluffly blanket with a bunch of pillows around

"Awe Zach you didnt have to do so much for me" i smiled still in awe

"I wanted to. Now drink your tea and eat your soup" he told me pointing to a tray with soup and a cup of tea

He is so cute. I cant believe i found a person like him

I stare at him smiling

He gives me a funny look and then laughs

"You're too cute" i say taking a sip of the tea

I let the hot tea burn down my throat

I breath in satisfied

"Why thank you" he smirked sitting next to me

I scoot away a little bit

" i dont want you to get sick" i told him

He shrugged " i dont care"

I shake my head " you have to sing, and you cant sing whilst sick" i say setting the cup on the table and laying down

"Mhm" he mumbled and wrapped his arms around my waist spooning me

I giggled but stopped because that made my head hurt more

Zach noticed and kissed my cheek

I smiled and slowly fell asleep
