Emily's POV:
Me and the girls were walking to a newly opened cafe today

We walk into the cafe and order

"We should sit outside" Bailee said grabbing her drink, the only drink not ready yet is mine

"Yeah sure. Go find a table outside ill catch up on you" i said leaning on the counter

They nodded and sat outside

I wait a little more and finally see my drink

Right before i grab it i hear a voice i never wanted to hear again in my life

"Look who is here" my Disgusting excuse of a mother said

I can practically hear her smirk

I take a deep breath, grab my drink and slowly turn around

"What do you want?" I asked calmly even though that will not last long

"Its been two years" she said an evil smile playing on her lips

"You little bitch. You've missed your beatings. Why did you escape your mother?" She asked/yelled with a fake frown now

People looked at us with shock

She did not

"Im not a bitch. I didn't deserve any of the beatings. I escaped because i was better off so. And dont you DARE say you are my mother! You are a poor excuse of a mother!" I yelled

Bailee and Lena came inside

I gave them a 'stay there' look

"You did not!" She yelled slapping me. Very hard

I clutched my cheek and looked at her

She inched her face closer to mine

"You are just as useless as you were 2 years ago" she spat. I can smell all the alcohol in her breath

I laughed but with tears in my eyes
"Says the 'mother' who is always is drunk and beating their daughter up. Now if you will excuse me" i stopped and clutched my drink harder

"Im gonna go and enjoy my life away from your disgusting ass" i said pouring my very hot coffee on her

She gasped

I smiled at her and nodded to the girls to come with me

I took one last look at her and left shaking my head

I felt guilty that i had to ruin the girls day "im sorry i had to ruin your day" i said to the girls

They looked at each other wide eyed "Noooo you are not the one to be sorry, you shouldnt be. You did the right thing" lena said hugging me

I hugged the girls

"Her face was priceless when i poured the coffee on her"  i laughed trying to brighten the mood. When actually i feel like shit, just like two years ago

The girls laughed and nodded

*after the girls leave house. On FaceTime with Daniel*

Im getting a FaceTime call

'Danielle' it reads

Shit! The bruise on my face! I didn't cover it!

I sigh and answer

"Hey daniel!"  I said smiling. Trying not to sound nervous

"Hey Emily! How are you?" He said smiling but his eyes scrunched together looking closer to the screen

"Im ok. How are you?" I asked

"Im ok" he said inching closer to the camera

That reminded me of before

"Is that a bruise on your cheek? What happened? Its huge!" He yelled into the phone

I flinched "yeah it is" i said quietly looking away from the camera

He looked at me sternly clenching his jaw

"Who did that to you" he said sternly

"M-my m-om" i stuttered. I stutter a lot when im scared or nervous

I try and hold back the tears 'not today eyes' i think to myself

His face softened "explain" he said softer now

"I was walking to a newly opened cafe with bailee and Lena, and my drink wasn't ready yet. So i told the girls i would see them outside. And right be-f-fore i grabbed my drink she t-old me" i stopped and let out a tear

He nodded "its ok to cry, let it out" he said softly

I sobbed but calmed down as fast as possible

"Long story short. She called me useless, and a bitch. And she asked me why did i escape my mother. And i told her im not a bitch. And i said  that she was a very poor excuse of a mother. And she slapped me" i stopped so i cant cry again

"And she came really close to my face and told me i was just as useless as two years ago, and i told her 'says the mother who is always drunk and beating up her daughter, now if you will excuse me, im going to enjoy my life without your disgusting ass' and poured my really hot coffee on her. And i left with the girls" i finished explaining

He looked at me with sorry eyes "im sorry emily! When you come im gonna give you a massive hug" he said

I giggled "cant wait" i said wiping my eyes

"But to brighten up the mood her face was priceless " i laughed

He laughed " im sure" he said

"Should i tell the guys?" He asked me

"Can you? I dont wanna have to explain all that" i asked

"Of course" he nodded and smiled

"Ok im super tired dani. Im gonna go sleep!" I said

"Ok! Rest well ems! See you in 2 days!" He yelled smiling

I smiled back "cant wait! Goodnight!" I said hanging up

I sighed and threw my phone across my bed

I go to my bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. Im such a mess

I sigh and get ready for bed
