Chris
Saturday
It was going on 2:40 and the barque didn't start until 3. I was in sitting in Vivian's living room waiting for her to come down ready but, she complained about every outfit she had put on. I kept saying she looked fine but she got emotional and started saying she was fat. It took me twenty minutes to get her to stop saying that because she looked fine, Yeah she had a stomach that looked to big for one child but hell, i do not know anything about babies or pregnancies. Other than that, her body was fine.
"Vivian are you ready yet?" I yelled up the steps to hear shuffling going around in her room. "I'm coming now" She answered. When she came into my view, I can't lie she was beautiful she had a nice glow to her carmel skin and her stomach was slightly poking out which was cute. Of course its cute its my child. Please don't have my big head.. She might hate me. My mom said she hated my dad because i got my head from him. I chuckled at the thoughts when my mom kept saying how much she hated him for that.
"Chris" Vivian snapped her fingers in front of my face making me look down at her. When she get down here? I thought, "Mhm" I answered. "You look amazing, now lets go we're going to be late. And i do not like late" I stated. She rolled her eyes before getting her small purse and then her keys. When we got out the house she locked the door then walked to the car. I jogged ahead of her and opened her door letting her in safely.
"Thank you" she mumbled, i nodded in response then closed the door and went to the drivers. I put the address of her parents house in the GPS and we were on our way. It was just Vivian and I going since Morgan had something to do with Loren and will be coming with her later on. Vivian said she was alright with Morgan being there for the fact she's going to be around because of our child together.
I pulled up to the curb of a nice little two story home. There were many other cars up and down the street so i was glad it was easy to find a spot. Vivian was just looking down at her lap being silent. "What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing Chris.. I just hope my parents take the news well." She mumbled. I nodded before getting out of the car and jogged to her side and opened it up for her. "They will be fine okay." I assured her taking her hand, it's awkward making some type of physical contact for the reason we are not together and i was with Morgan.
She leaded me through a walkway which I'm guessing is going to the backyard. When we got back there, there were plenty of people sitting, standing around with drinks in their hands while there were kids running and chasing each other in bathing suits. Its was a nice set up for a Braque. I haven't been to one in a minute.
"Vivy!" Someone screamed from behind me, i turned around and saw a little girl who had to be around seven or eight running at full speed. Not wanting to be in the way i stepped to the side just as Vivian turned around and a smile appeared on her face. She looked beautiful smiling. The girl jumped in her arms holding her tightly before letting go.
"Your having a baby auntie" the little girl cooed, wildly amazed staring at her stomach. The girl put her hands on it smiling. "It kicked!" she squealed. I sucked my teeth to myself. Why is a kick so cute? It's still creepy. To me only i assume. As Vivian and the little girl, I'm sure is her niece conversated, i looked around, lost and standing awkwardly. I didn't know anybody so i just stood their with my hands deep my pockets. I saw how happy the girl made Vivian. It made me think of her and our child. She seem like she'll make the best mother. Being around her for the last couple weeks, she's really down to earth, nice and had a gorgeous smile. Her-
"Chris, dude you've been zoning out a couple times today" Vivian stated chuckling. I looked down at her and roused my eyebrow. "I have?" I questioned and she nodded. "Chris this is my niece Liberty, she's my brother daughter. And Liberty this is Chris." she said, the little girl smiled brightly before waving and ran off. I was confused. "Jamal has a chil-" she put her hand up and shook her head no. "My older brother Devon, he's in the army." she stated, i nodded. She just never told me about another silbling.
