Chapter 27:
Louis' POV:
When I woke a smile instantly found its way to my lips while the memories of last night floated back as well.I looked at my side and there she was.My Selena.Sleeping like an angel.My Sleeping Beauty.
Last night was the best night I've ever had.And it was different.
After Mallory,the girl I did love,which was a waste of my time,loving someone that was just playing me.I started to party and drink to forget the pain she caused in me.Every night I was with a different girl.Girls I don't even remember the name.And I had sex with them and it was just f***ing,but yesterday what I had with Selena,of course it was sex,but it meant so much more,we mated,our souls connected.It was making love.And it was perfect.
I looked at the clock and saw that it was 8:00 a.m. So I decided I was going to get breakfast.I looked at Selena one last time and kissed her temple.I got up brushed my teeth and put some clothes on.I made my way downstairs and grabbed the car keys.I could just wait 'til Selena wakes up then make breakfast.But,I would end up burning the kitchen.And I don't want that.So,I will pick up something at Granny Jenkins' bakery.I decided to write a note to Selena in case she wakes up before I come back,which is unlikely,she is not going to wake up before 11:00,but if she wakes up she'll know where I am.I put the note on the table and left the house.I got in the car and drove off.
Minutes later I parked in front of Granny's bakery.I got out and entered the bakery.Granny was selling something,that smelled really good, to someone.When the woman got out she looked at me.
"Louis,dear.How are you?"She smiled at me.
"I'm fine.And you?"
"Fine.So,how was your date?"She smiled at me.
"Really good.Thanks for the house by the way."I said.
"No problem.How's Marie?"
"She's fine.Still sleeping."
"I meant,how us she after the attack."She whispered with a serious look.
"Attack?What attack?"I started to play dumb.
"The vampire attack."
"Vampire?I don't know what you're talki-"
"You don't have to hide it from me.,Louis.I already know.And I also know that you are a werewolf."
"How?You're human.You aren't suppose to."
"My husband was a werewolf.And my mate."
"Oh,I get it.She's fine.Just a little bit scared still."Just remembering that she got attacked by a vampire made me angry.
"Glad she's fine.Louis.I actually wanted to talk to you.Come sit with me."She said and I followed her to a table.I sat down and waited for her to speak.
"Louis,I'm really happy Selena found you ,her mate.She went through a lot this past years,Jake's death and then the problem with Jeff,Amanda,her mother,disappearing.But,I,can see in her eyes that she loves you.And with,her being away from here.I trust you to make her happy.She's like a daughter to me.Can I trust you to make her happy?"
"Of course,Granny.All I want to do is make her happy,and love her."I smiled at her.
"Alright,now what can I do for you?"She smiled.
"I need breakfast for me and Sel.What do you recommend?"
"I know exactly what you both will love."She said and got up.
A couple of minutes later she have me a basket with food for out breakfast.I payed her and left.
When I got back to the house.I put the basket on the table and made my way upstairs.As I expected Selena was still asleep.And it,was just 8:50.So I decided to lay down again with her.I took of my shoes,got in bed and wrapped my arms around Sel and fell
