Chapter 8:
Liam's POV:
I stared at her and couldn't help but cry.It was so sad to see her like that.Selena wasn't just my best friend,I saw her at a sister.My little sister.I feel like it's my fault.I should have been there to help her.I still can't believe this happened to her.And why?Who?And the thing that' been bothering me the most is tha no one looked for her.I mean,NOBODY looked for her.How is that possible?I know for sure,and there are only a couple of things that I am really sure abour in this crazy world,and that thing is that Jake would always be there for Selena.Really,they spend a lot of time with each other,they fought a lot,always annoying each other,and still they wanted to be together.That's love.I am sure,like I am sure my name is Liam that if Selena was missing he would call the police right away.Hell,this one time when he and Zayn was staying at a sleep over at my house,their parents decided to go out,and Selena stayed at home alone,she was 14.A fourteen year old can stay at home alone for a couple of hours.We were playing video gamesz and them decided to call her and joke around,you know make fun of her.So,Jake called her and she didn't pick up.He went mental,saying someone broke into their house and took her.We tried to calm him down and say that she was on the bathroom or didn't hear the phone.But,he wasn't calming down.So,we had to go there and see if she was ok.She was,her phone was just dead.And he made us move the sleep over to his house because he didn't want his sister alone.Now,tell if he isn't an overprotective brother.He would freak if Selena went missing.That's what I don't get it why she is alone in here.
"Liam?"I snapped out of my thoghts by Zayn calling me.
"What?" I asked.
"Are you all right?You were just staring at the wall..."
"I am fine Z.I was just thinking...."
"About?"He asked.He was holding Sel's hand.I made my way to her bed and grabbed her other hand.
"That anybody looked for her.She's been here for months and nobody,not even Jake looked for her."
"I thought about tha,too.It's really weird......Liam!Oh gosh,we are such idiots."Zayn said.
"What?Why?"
"Liam,we could call Jake."
How did I not think about it yesterday.We could have called her house and talk to her parents.We are really idiots.
"What are you waiting for,Zayn?Call him." Zayn took his phone out and dialed some numbers.He put the phone in his ear and waited for an answer.I just squeezed Selena's hand.Gosh,I missed her so much.And seeing her hurt like that is awful.I never was a violent person,but I just wanna find who did this to her and kill the bastard.
"Voice mail.Dammit."Zayn said.
"Ok,that's weird.Now,he is not answering his phone.Zayn what is happening?A couple of days ago I was so happy that we found a new pack.And the new friends we made.And now this.I still can't believe someone hurt Sel..."I said.
"Me too.I just want to find this monster and kill him with my bare hands.I mean,she islike my sister,Li.I feel so bad because I was thinking what would have happened if we did'nt move.Maybe if we were still there with her she wouldn't be here."
Zayn said.I just hugged him.I didn't know what to say.There was a knock on the door and Louis came in."Guys,people are coming to take her to the ambulence."He said.
"Ok,just one more minute."I said.He nodded and before he closed the door again he looked at Selena,I could see the love in his eyes.And I am glad he is her mate.I don't know him that much,but I can tell he can make her really happy.I made my way towards her again,and held her hand."Hey,Sel.It's me Liam.Zayn is here,too."Zayn came closer to her and held her other hand."Yes,Sel.I am here.Me and Li are here for you.And you'll get better,ok?You are going to wake up soon."He said and kissed her hand."Yeah,and you better wake up,soon.With you don't I swear to Barney I'll kick your behind."I joked,using the first thing she said to us,remembering that day brought a little smile to my face.Me and Zayn kissed her forehead,said goodbye and said that we were going to see her again soon.Then people came in and put her in a stretcher and rolled our of her room,with our those tubes and heart monitor still attached to her.They put her in the ambulence and Louis went with her.I could tell that he was dying to talk to her again.
Louis' POV:
I was now sitting at the back of the ambulence with Selena.Sadly,there was a mnurse with us in the back,just to make sure nothing happened to her.But,with the nurse here I couldn't talk to her like I wanted to.I wasnt to talk to her in private.I guess I'll just have to wait till we get to the hospital...
---three and a half hours later---
I am dying here.Ugh,after,like,a two hours ride to the private hospital we made it.I was already happy because I was going to have my alone time with my Sleeping Beauty.But,my once we stepped inside the hospital my aunt took her away.She said she was going to do a check up on her just to see how was her situation.And I was here in her new room,this one is numer 198,waiting for then to bring her in,so I can talk to her.Yeah,I know she is not awake and I might just end up talking to myself because she might not hear it at all,but my aunt said that there a possibility that she could indeed hear what was going on around her,and that if I talk to her it might help in her recovery,so I am going to talk to her as much as I can.Man,I would read all the Harry Potter books for her if it helps her wake up and get better.The sound of the door opened snapped me out of my thoughts.And they brought Selena into the room,finally.They put her on the bed and left us alone.I brought my chair closer to her and held her hand.Felling those goose bumps again.Well,let's start the talking.
"Hey,Selena.It's me,Louis.How are you?You know,I saw a video of you yesterday.Your voice is so amazing and your eyes...They are just perfect.I wish I could see them,now.But,I know that I will,soon.You're going to get better."I kissed her hand."So,you heard Liam and Zayn,today?They were so worried about you when they found out.They really love you.A lot.In a brotherly way,of course.If they loved you in another way I'd really have to kick their asses,because you are mine.You are my beautiful mate.I love you so much.I wish I knew what happened to you.But,I will find out.And I will find out who did this to you and I will make them pay.Mark my words."
---Hours later---
I spend the whole visiting time talking to her,just saying randon things and how much I loved her.Which is a lot.When vising time was over I kissed her forehead and said goodbye.Then,I looked at her lips,her pink pretty lips.I had to control myself not to kiss her.And my wolf wasn't making it easier.He kept growling at me to kiss her and as much as I wanted to kiss her,feel her lips against mine,I also wanted her to be awake when he had our firs kiss.I wanted her to feel fireworks,the firewok that I know I will feel.
I was now at the dining table,with my parents,aunt,Demi,Jaosn,JEn,the guys,You know,the same...
i kept playing with my food,not really hungry.I was just thinking about Selena,my Selena.Then,my uncle came in.He barely entered the dining room and everyody was asking him questions,asking if he found out something about Selena.
"So,what did you found out?"I asked.
"Yeah,did you find Jake?Because we called him and went straight to voice mail."Zayn said.
"Well,I found out why her brother didn't looke for her or reported the police when Selena disappeared.."My uncle said.
"Why?" Everyone asked at the same time.What he said made everyone gasp.And made Zayn and Liam get tears in their eyes.
"Jake died."
