Chapter 4:
Louis' POV:
I froze, in that room, on that bed was the most beautiful girl I've ever seem. And her scent got stronger, it was so good. But, I noticed something that made me feel so sad.
Besides the fact that she was sleeping, I wanted to see her eyes, she was bruised, some cuts and pulple marks on her face and arms and she was wearing a oxygen mask. There was tubes attached to her. She was hurt.
All I could her right now was the 'beep' of her heart monitor. I just stood there staring at her. When I heard my wolf say something I thought I didn't want to hear:
"Mate"
-----
I just stood there, looking at her. Her. My mate. MATE. I can't believe this. That's her. Lying in a hospital bed, hurt.
I got closer to her, I looked at her again. She was brunette, and her skin was kind of pale, she had bruises all over her face and her head was bandaged. Her arms had bruises and cuts. I touched her hand, I felt sparks just for touching her hand. Her hand was really cold. I coudn't stop the tears. I cried. I haven't cried in such a long time. Because I promised myself that I would never cry over a girl again. But, I couldn't help it. She was my mate and she was hurt. After a couple of minutes of crying and holding her hand, I got up. I needed to know who she is, her name, why and how she got hurt like that. Karen would know. So, I left her room, I didn't want to but I did. I looked at her door, she was at room number 126.
I walked a bit slow still kind of shocked. After a couple of minutes I saw Karen, she was kind of a recepcionist at this area of the hospital, she was at her desk.
"Karen." I said. She looked up from her computer and saw who I was.
"Louis, nice to see you. How is your mom?" She and my mom were really good friends, but I don't have time for chat.
"Good, look my dad told me to give you these." I handed her the files.
"Oh, thank you."
"Karen, who's that girl at room 126?"
She seemed confused for a minute the she became sad.
"Oh, the Sleeping Beauty."
"What? What do you mean? I need a name."
"We don't know."
"What?"
"I'm sorry, Louis. But,why are you asking? Do you know her?"
"No,but...." Should I tell her?
"She is my mate, Karen. I really need to know her and what happened to her."
"Oh my... She is your mate?"
"Yeah... Please who is she?"
She got up and picked a file from her desk. "Follow me." She said and I did.
Once I smelled tha scent I knew where we were going.
We entered the room 126. There where 2 chairs there and she sat on one and I sat on the other.
"We don't know her name." Karen began speaking.
"Someone found her in the woods months ago. She was beaten up badly. When she got here she was barely breathing. But, thank God the doctor saved her life. The police came here to take pictures of her because it didn't look like an accident. Someone hurt her. They expected someone to call the police report a missing girl, but nobody did. Which is weird. So, she has been here till now. She is in a coma, she hasn't woken up. Just some of her wounds healed. We don't know her name. We know nothing about her, so we call her Sleeping Beauty."
