Chapter 3:
Louis' POV:
"Louis wake up." I heard someone say. But I just wanted to sleep.
"Louis ,you are not going to sleep all day. Get up, now. You are going to do something for me."
It was my father. And then he opened the courtains. The sun blinded me.
"Get up. I am not kidding."
Yeah, I think it's better if I get up. I already have enough problems with him, don't need one more.
"Ok, dad. I am up." I said. And he left the room.
I was still tired, almost didn't sleep last night. I was still thinking about last night and what my brother said. Was he right? I don't know. And I think I don't want to.
I got up and made my way to the shower. I took off my clothes and got in the shower. The hot water was relaxing. I think I stayed under the shower just feeling the water on my body for like 10 minutes, before washing myself.
Once I was done. I put on some clothes and made my way downstairs. It was already 1:00 pm so everybody was pretty much out. When I got to the kitchen Jennifer was there looking for something in the fridge. Then I felt guilty about last night. I should apologise. I cleared my throat so she would see that I was there. She turned around with a bottle of water and looked at me. She had a sad look on her face.
"Hey..." She mumbled
"HI..." I said. She was about to leave the kitchen but I stopped her.
"Jen, I... Look, I am sorry. I shouldn't have snapped..."
"That's ok, Louis. I think I crossed the line." She smiled a little bit.
"I am really sorry .But, you know how I feel about it."
"I know. And I am sorry,too."
"So... Are we good?"
"Of course, Lou."She hugged me.
"Love you, Jen."
"Me too. I got to go, talk to you later, ok?"
"Yes, bye."
She left. Well, at least she wasn't mad at me. I took an apple from the fruit bowl. I was kind of hungry but I was too lazy to actually make something. So, apple will do.
"Louis?" My father said from behind me. I turned around to face him.
"Yes?"
"I need you to take these files to the public hospital of town."
"The public hospital? But, it's so far from here." I complained.
"God, Louis. Just do it. Can you just do me this favor?"
He wasn't going to be happy if said 'no'. So, is better if I just do it.
"Alright..." He handed me some files.
"When you get there just give the files to Karen, ok?"
"OK." Karen was a werewolf,too.
I got my car keys and made my way to the car. I got in and drove off to the hospital.
I was bored ,so I decided to turn the radio on.
----In the hospital----
I got at the hospita after 2:30 hours of driving. That's how far the public hospital was.
We kind of lived in a small town, there was two hospitals, one was the public and the other was a kind of private one that was closer to the pack house .My aunt, Demi's mom, was a doctor there. Here in this hopsital we only had a few werewolves that take care if something out of ordinary happens, some nurses, a couple of doctors and Karen.
I entered the hospital and took the elevator to where Karen was, so I can give her these files and get out of here. The elevator came to a stop and the doors opened.
A sign there said that I was at a part of the hospital where things were kind of 'serious' if you know what I mean. Like really sick people.
I made my way to where Karen should be, but as I passed a door I couldn't help but stop. I felt a scent, the sweetest smell I ever felt. I didn't know what I was doing at first, I was just hypnotized by that scent. But I went to the door where the scent was stronger and opened.
I froze, in that room, on that bed was the most beautiful girl I've ever seem. And her scent got stronger, it was so good. But,I noticed something that made me feel so sad.
Besides the fact that she was sleeping, I wanted to see her eyes, she was bruised, some cuts and pulple marks on her face and arms and she was wearing a oxygen mask. There was tubes attached to her. She was hurt.
All I could her right now was the 'beep', of her heart monitor. I just stood there staring at her. When I heard my wolf say something I thought I didn't want to hear:
"Mate"
