This is a really short chapter so sorry but I hope you enjoy ~ L.S Raina
Tenten groaned as she rubbed the back of her head. Neji wrapped his arms around the brown haired female as the knocking persisted. Sighing, Tenten took Neji's arm off around her waist and got up from her bed. They were having a nice night sleep for once when someone had decided to disturb them, along with Kiba, who they could hear trying to calm down Akamaru and put him back to sleep. She slipped on a shirt as she turned on the light, fully waking up her boyfriend. Neji sighed as he rubbed the back of his head and stood up.
Together, the couple got out of Tenten's room to find Kiba already out of his bedroom to figure out what the commotion was about. Tenten walked to the front door with the two males behind her and looked through the peephole of their apartment. Flinging the front door open, there stood Hinata soaked in the rain, her purple head matted as the clothes she wore were soaked. Her skin was paler than usual, her eyes bloodshot from the tears she shed, and her skin looked cold to the touch. She looked at Tenten as she quickly covered her eyes with her hands.
"Go grab a towel Neji," Tenten quickly told her boyfriend as Kiba motioned for the purple haired female to get in. He had put on his gloves before hand just in case a human was behind the door. It was a good thing he had done so. Neji soon came back with a towel as Tenten closed the door behind the female and allowed Kiba to wrap the towel around Hinata. "Come on sweetheart, let's get you warmed up and then we can talk alright?" Tenten whispered to Hinata as she tried to explain herself.
Kiba went to the kitchen to get coffee, slightly irritated that it was Hinata who ruined his sleep, but he knew now wasn't the time to shout a female who was clearly shaken up. Neji looked at the purple haired female, her eyes being so familiar to his own, he sat across from her. Her body shivered from the rain as Tenten set down a towel on the leather couch and before allowing Hinata to sit down, "How did you know I lived here?" asked Tenten.
Kiba set down a cup of coffee in front of Hinata and sat down beside Neji, "Drink up, you look like a dying rabbit. You saw my car am I right? I went with Naruto when they went to talk with each other, so there's no doubt about it that she my car. All she had to do was find one of our names on the nameplates of this building. But how long were you outside?" he asked her.
Hinata nodded to confirm what he said before about seeing his car, "I ran away from home. My dad saw Naruto and somehow he knows what he is. I can read by dad like an open book. He threatened me and we got into an argument. He got pissed and tried to make me stay in my room. He even told me I couldn't see Hanabi. That was the last straw. I'm sorry Tenten-san, Kiba-san, I didn't mean to wake you up but I was walking around till this morning." she muttered as she gripped the cup of coffee in her hand.
Neji looked at her for a moment. He could see the doubt in Tenten and Kiba's eyes about the part which she said about Naruto but throughout his whole time as a grim reaper, he had a good sense of those who told the truth and who told lies. He was a human before and becoming a grim reaper, he lost his admission for being reborn, but before he died, he was an Hyuuga so he knew exactly what Hinata knew. Both of them were the same blood and bone, though he had no idea how much of an age difference they had.
Tenten sighed as she sat down beside Hinata, "Does Naruto know you're here?" she asked.
Hinata shook her head, "He told me that he might not be able to talk to me for the next two weeks and since I overheard his conversation with Sasuke, or whatever his name is, I just couldn't go back to his house and ask if I could stay there for another night. I know that I shouldn't have come to bother you but I was desperate. I don't want to go back to a life where everything I do is dictated." she muttered as she held back her tears.
