Shock

You stumbled back, tripping over your own foot and falling . Smooth move, y/n.

"I-I I'm s-sorry I-" you stuttered in absolute shock.

"Sebastian!" Ciel shouted. You heart footsteps thumping down the hall, coming closer and closer at a inhumanly pace. You tried to get up and run, but it was too late. You felt a harsh grip on your waist, pinning your arms to your sides and bruising them. You yelped in fear and pain.

"Do you have any idea who she is, Sebastian?" Ciel asked coldly, as tears started building up in your eyes from the pain. Slightly tighter, and your bones would snap. You couldn't move a millimeter because of the position you were in without breaking a bone.

"No, my lord." A skeptical voice said.

"Hmm, what do you know about her?" Ciel asked, instantly noticing the tone of Sebastian.

"Well, she has a trace of an angels work upon her. Although she has no magic in her. She is a regular human being. Her soul, on the other hand looks quite delicious. An appetizer, maybe."

"Angel's work, huh? Wonder why an angel would bother to send her here. She can't fight." He looked at you, a judging, slightly disgusted look on his face. You started losing light. You were in too much pain. Sebastian's grip was going to break you. You no longer could tell what they were saying, nor see them clearly. You blacked out from the pain.

                                                                                              ....

You opened the door, running through the blinding white light away from the darkness that was creeping in and trying to swallow you whole. You saw a figure in the distance, it was Ciel you realized as you neared it. He turned to face you, a look of surprise on his face.

"Ciel!" You ran towards him with all you speed, knowing he'd keep you safe. You dashed into his outstretched arms. He wrapped his arms tightly around you, holding you close. He smelled like roses, his warm breath on your neck.

"It's ok. You'll be fine with me." Then his body went limp in your arms. He was dead. The darkness swooped in, swallowing you whole.

                                                                                             ....

You gasped, waking from the terrible nightmare. It was pitch black, you couldn't see a thing. It was also cold, and you could feel stones underneath you. It was a cellar, you slowly realized. Your arms ached terribly, you could barely move them. Who knew how long it had been. What were your parents and friends thinking. They probably thought you got kidnapped. The possibility of never seeing them again dawned on you. How had you managed to get here anyway? You curled up into a ball and started crying. Well, you had finally made it into the black butler universe. You met your beloved Ciel. But now you might've lost everything you ever had. You cried for what seemed like hours. Then you heard echoing footsteps. You quickly wiped your tears as the door creaked open, and the light blinded your eyes. The man pushed his glasses up.

"I knew I sensed mysterious activity coming from here." Suit, the grim reaper, walked in, followed by Sebastian and Ciel. Your heart skipped a beat. "So you say you have no idea who she is and that she just appeared?"

"Yes." Sebastian answered.

"Well, I sense death around her, and there's an easy way to figure out who she is." The reaper walked up to you, crouching and touching your forehead. He pulled away after a couple of seconds and sighed. "Don't worry, she's not out to hurt anyone. She's technically dead."

"What!" You yelled shocked.

"You have forgotten, so let me explain. You come from a different universe, but that you know. Now, here's where it gets complicated. Please bear with me, as this might sound unbelievable. But I assure you I am not lying at all. Y/n, you have died in a bus crash. That was the reason why you felt so unsettled the previous morning. After you died, you didn't realize it and continued on with your day as if nothing had happened. The reason for that was your fate was incomplete. The bus crash was never intended but fate screwed up. It does that sometimes. So an angel, pitying you gave you another chance at life, in this universe. But they specifically chose this universe because that's where your soul mate is. And now you and your soul mate are forever tied. You are probably curious about who he is. Well, that would happen to be Ciel Phantomhive. You two cannot leave each other no matter what. Good day." And with that, he just walked away, as if nothing had happened. You looked at Ciel, who seemed absolutely shocked.

"Well, you should be glad you are no longer betrothed to lady Elizabeth." Sebastian said. He faced you. "Miss, we apologize for your rough treatment. We thought you were a threat. Please follow me now." He offered you his hand, and you took it, wincing as you moved your arms. "I'll be showing you to your rooms." You walked past a still stunned Ciel. You still hadn't let everything sink in. You refused to yet. You were going to sleep on it, you were too tired and in pain to think clearly. Tomorrow would be the day to figure things out, though.
