yoongi and hoseok were hanging out again, well that's what yoongi called it but hoseok called it a date.

they were at the arcade, cashing out money for coins to play the games.

well all the games yoongi wanted to play, hoseok just knew he loved seeing yoongi happy.

so he put a 5 dollar bill in to start then off, yoong eyeing the machine and let out a soft 'wow' when all the coins were dropping out.

hoseok grabbed onto them. " where do you wanna start first" he moved yoongi to the side so everyone else could pass by.

yoongi looked around and pointed a car ride. gosh he loved them. they were so much fun.

he sat down, hoseok putting in 2 coins, and he sat down on his own doing the same.

both games were racing each other and while hoseok was casually playing, he looked over to his side and saw how focused yoongi was.

hoseok ended up winning, which ended with a whining yoongi about how he wanted to win, and that they should try again.

"come on let's go play another one, if you still want we can come back later" he held out a hand for yoongi.

instead he grabbed his arm and smiled, they were heading off the next game that yoongi eyed.

hoseok put 2 coins to start playing because yoongi told him so, he also added how he was really bad at it and he could never win.

he refused and he made yoongi play it with another helping hand. both of them moved the stick, more like hoseok but he let yoongi press the button.

winner. the machine showed colorful lights showing they had won.

" hoseok! i won something! look! look" he kneeled down and grabbed the bear holding it up for hoseok to see it. not like he couldn't see it from far away already.

" that's wonderful. see, you won. don't doubt yourself next time sweetheart"

yoongi smiled and hugged the bear on one side of his arm and holding hoseok arm with the other.

" can we go try that one"

hoseok looked over and immediately taught it was a bad idea. not only was it painted with zombie like aliens but it had a big warning sign that they're 3d glasses and the whole box shook as an effect.

" maybe not that-no i want that one, please hoseok" he dragged him to it, and he stepped inside hoseok sitting next to him.

hoseok sighed but listened to yoongi, because again he wanted to see yoongi happy, but he wasn't sure, this would keep him happy for long.

both of them had put the glasses on, yoongi giggling cause supposedly hoseok looked funny, but the game had begun and he only watched hoseok play while he was hugging his bear.

there was nothing but silence in the small box. until. one of the creatures popped out, splating his tongue onto the screen, screaming and attacking the player who was currently hoseok.

yoongi began to cry just as that popped out, hugging his bear tighter then before and avoiding the screen. it wasn't like anyone heard, how could they; when games were playing and kids were shouting. parents yelling at their kids for being to hectic and that they needed to calm down or theyd go home.

hoseok embraced yoongi into a hug before pulling him out of the game. he walked over to the small booths that were for eating, where yoongi still had been crying.

" it's okay, it's okay. don't cry anymore." he tried to hush him as he rubbed his back, trying to comfort the little boy.

when he checked yoongi, all he saw was a pouty lip, and water crystal eyes.

" it was just a game. how about next we stick to playing the little games okay?"

yoongi had totally completely slipped into little space sure he was already there but this just notched it up even more; the way hoseok had handled the situation made yoongi feel small and safe. just like when he was with jin. it was wonderful.

" how about we go over to my house. calm down a bit, before we head back out wherever you want" he stroked yoongis hair back, only for it to go back into its position.

i've been into the return of superman lately. it's making me realize how small and precious kids really are, if they grow up in a nice home with loving parents.
