Come with me, my love
To the sea, the sea of love.

(Unedited, i swear ill get round to it)

{Clary's POV}

I watch the bacon sizzle in the pan alongside the eggs and wait for my phone screen to light up indicating that Nico has accepted my apology or told me to go to hell.

Personally I wouldn't have forgiven him if he'd done the same to me but that didn't mean he didn't deserve one. An apology wasn't always there to be accepted.

Jace flicks through a newspaper and occasionally reaches a hand out to grab some Mango chunks from the fruit tub in front of him at the kitchen island, just blonde strands of his hair peeking out from behind the large tabloid. I turn back towards the stove with a smile at how familiar it all is, the sight of him so near and peaceful, like old times.

"You shouldn't bother you know." He says making me jump even though I'm not staring at him anymore.
"Hmm?" I slip the bacon and eggs onto a plate for myself and take the seat across from him once I've turned everything off and grabbed some cutlery. He lowers the paper so I can see him, those gold eyes of his burning into me
"Apologising." He nods towards my phone and folds the paper, putting it on the seat next to me so he can see me.

"I have to, I treated him like shit yesterday." I stab at a piece of bacon and he watches me devour it, a thoughtful look on his face.

"How so?" He reaches over and snatches a strip for himself, I don't have the energy to swat at him.
"Because we were having sex and I screamed someone else's name?" Isn't it obvious? He was there?

"Yeah," he nods "my name."

I blush and keep my head down concentrating on finishing my breakfast.
"It's really nothing to be ashamed of Clary, we were together a long time." I wonder how that makes any difference to him
"So if I was having sex with you and shouted Nicos name you would've understood?" I raise an eyebrow at him and he smirks at me, rising from his seat to stretch.

"Nah, but that's only because I'm much better in bed than he is." He winks and reaches for a towel in the pile of clean washing, I however nearly choke on my eggs.

"Oh, and how exactly are you so sure?" He doesn't turn to face me as he answers, just slings the towel over his shoulder and stalks out
"Because you should've been shouting Nico."

There have been numerous occasions in life where I've wanted to string the little blonde bastard up and this was no exception. It didn't last though, the frustration because the second he leaves I want him back, sarcasm, cockiness and all.

I try not to think too much about it, try not to be so sad about things that are irreversible and carry my dirty plate up to the sink. I place the plate gingerly ontop of Nico and I's mugs and discard of Jace's fruit tub.

"Hey clary!" He calls from the bathroom "Come look at this!"

I swear to god if he's standing there butt naked
"Coming." I tell him nonetheless and go towards the bathroom, maybe the shower wasn't working again or something?

I open the door to see Jace peeking out the bathroom window... butt naked. Immediately I shield my eyes,
"Jesus Christ Jace, did you just call me in here so I could stare at your ass?"

He chuckles
"No you can do that whenever you like, also I figured it didn't matter if I grabbed a towel I mean, you showed me yours yesterday I'm just returning the favour." I pick up a nearby toilet roll and chuck it in his direction, thankfully when I uncover my eyes he has a towel wrapped loosely around him.
