(Holy shiiit you guys. Over 110 reads in like a week. You're all amazing ❤️)

I waited for him to get back and in the meantime I just sat and waited. There really wasn't much else to do in the plain room.

Occasionally I would hear somebody walk by or talk down the hall. It was lonely but that's how most of my days would probably be spent.

When he finally came back I was deep in thought and he scared me.

"Come on. I have no patience at the moment."

I could tell he was in a bad mood but obviously I wasn't going to say anything about it. Testing him right now would get me nowhere

We walked down the halls to a large metal door and he opened it leading me outside.

I had no idea where we were. It must have been outside the city because there were no skyscrapers or buildings for that matter

He lead me to a sleek black car where we both got in. It makes me wonder just how much money he has. He did say he owns the biggest cartel in New York.

And actually it made me think how I don't even know this man's name.

He pulled away from the warehouse and down a gravel road towards the city I'm guessing

"Who are you?" I asked

"Your boss. My name is not important. While I was gone I collected information about you though."

What the actual fuck. I mean obviously they would find stuff out about me but what does he know?

"I have of course seen you before Ms. Dolan. On the elevator." He said keeping his eyes on the road

"What do you know about me?" I asked skeptically

"Well, you're a descendant from a business partner of ours. Last name Keys ring a bell?"

"Grandpa. Does that mean?"

"Oh yes. You couldn't possibly think he got that rich off of strictly clean business do you? You're more naive than I thought." He laughed

I was never close with my grandparents after my mother's death. They never really forgave my dad, but on birthdays they always sent cards.

But it still made me mad that he knows more about me than I do.

"You also aren't going to school. We already called and cancelled for you. And don't worry about your father. He's been notified not to worry about you."

Not my dad. He's the only person I still have.

"And I'm sorry about your siblings. Your father must have never gotten over that one."

"How do you even know about them?" I asked bitterly

"It's my job to know your business, princess. We can't have a stranger working for us can we?"

What a fucking dick. There's no way I'm staying here to work. I'm getting out of here even if it takes everything I've got.

Ahhhhhh over 100 reads in about a week. Thanks so much guys

And this chapter was more just a filler but I have big things planned for this book.

I'm also working out the name situation. I have such a bad time with guy names unless I've had one picked for a while so you can leave some suggestions if you want.
