Chapter 14

(I guess I didn't really go over characters but you can pretty much see them however you want)

I had everything packed up into one suitcase and Kendall was working some things out over the phone.

I had sunglasses, a hoodie, and black sweats on. I was trying to keep it low key so I wouldn't get recognized on our way out

"Let's go." He said ending the call

He reached into his back pocket and pulled out my phone

"I found it at the warehouse." He said handing it to me

Of course it was dead so I wasn't going to worry about turning it on

We got out of the building safely and to Kendall's car.

We got to our gate for the flight and we had some time to spare so I took Kendall's charger and found an outlet

19 texts from Dad

26 missed calls from Dad

And many other numerous notifications from apps

So I called my Dad. I knew he was going to freak out on me.

"Adelaide?"

"Yeah Dad. I'm coming home now." I tried not to cry

"Why didn't you call or text? I was so worried."

I saw Kendall waving for me to go

"I swear I'll explain everything when I get home. I have to go but I'm okay. I love you, Dad."

"I love you. I'll get everything ready." He said hanging up

And with that I was off on my journey back home.

We got off the plane and got our bags. I didn't see my dad right away but when I did I ran towards him.

So many feelings overwhelmed me as I saw him. I gave him a big hug and just let all my feelings go on his shoulder

He hugged me back just as hard.

"I'm home."
