It was finally Friday and Somin was happy to go on a double date. All she wished for was her two bestfriends confessing to each other. Somin and Nayoung cleared all their work and decided to go shopping.
"Nayoung are you nervous" Somin teased.
"not again...it's just a friendly date, so no I'm not nervous" Nayoung rolled her eyes.
Somin decided not to talk back and just wait and watch, she knew for sure that the date today wouldn't be just a 'friendly date'. She chucked and tied her hair in a ponytail.
It was 4pm and Taehyung would pick them up at 7, both of them had good 3 hours to get ready for the date.
Somin called her father and asked to leave early today. She barley asked for something like this or took a day off so her father agreed.
"oh shuut" Somin said remembering something.
"what?" Nayoung asked sipping her drink.
"ahhhh how could I forget" Somin sighed loud.
Nayoung just sipped on her drink, allowing Somin do finish her sentence.
"I'm so forgetful...how could I forget mom's birthday. I need to buy her a gift...I need to throw a surprise party... I need to bake her favorite cake... and I need..."
"slow down Somin. Isn't her birthday in November?" Nayoung interrupted.
"no no no. I'm talking about my mother in law. Her birthday is in 4 days and I haven't done anything...shit" Somin had a worried expression on her face.
"okay listen, how about I help you with all that?" Nayoung gave her hand a light squeeze.
"I don't deserve you" Somin laughed and hugged her bestfriend.
"I know I know...now let's go" both made their way out.
The day was perfect for Somin but one certain person had to ruin it with showing their face. He was standing near the printer with one of his close friends Jin and some other people. His gaze fell on Somin and stayed there for good 30 seconds, till he gestured her to follow him. He did not look pleased for some reason. But then again when does he ever? He always looks irritated when it comes to Somin.

'ugh what does he want now' Somin thought.
She was lost in thoughts but when she got back to reality Jimin was long gone. She looked around but found him nowhere.
"Jimin walked that way" Jin smiled and pointed his hand to her right.
"Thanks" she replied with a small smile.
He just nodded in response.
"Nayoung I'll be back in a few. Wait for me in the car"
