Our Purpose Driven Life(English Version)

CHAPTER 38 March 7, 2004 6:09pm - 8:10pm

     Our greatest commission ( our promise mission ), is our commission. There are two classes, wordly commission and world class commission. The wordly commission is a praying person, he is doing what is right but he is not sharing to others. Attending to mass, joining to the activities inside church, but on encouraging people to be like Christ he is not joining, because he is using God for his desire, instead of God using him for His desire. The world class commissioner are more happy when they are helping others, he is always enthusiastic specially when they talk about religion about God. That's what they always wanna do and they are happy about it. We can use media or we have many things that we can use so we can spread the good news.

     The media are like television, newspaper this are the things that changes us and we can use it so that many will be like Christ. Before the apostles when they are spreading the good news, they are poor and they don't have strong boat to spread the good news all over the world, but they still made it. We are lucky now because there are airplane, ship, buses that we can use to do our commission. And now there is internet that's why it's like we are very near to each and everyone.

     And to become a world class commission, we should change our outlook on life, and our attitude. And to become a world class commission, we should not more think of ourselves, but think more on the betterment of others. We should remove our childish personalities and we should be mature, because childish are only thinking about themselves. Like my younger brother he is going home late night, he doesn't want to study anymore, he is a drinker, smoking cigarettes, and when he fight us back and my parents he's tone is inappropriate, and responding bad words back. But thanks to God because of loving us my younger brother is changing towards goodness gradually, he is lessening going home late, before 12 midnight he is already home, and not often drinking beers and smoking cigarette. And he seldom talk us back.

     Just like what rick warren said, love them no matter what and that's what i'm doing, i don't like he's attitude so i don't give him something that i'm suppose to, i don't talk to him that much, and i'm showing him bad attitude, but while i'm reading the chapter of the purpose driven life, gradually I'm changing my attitude, from the help of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the pray from the Father(God), Son(Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit, the one that help me, i did not change my religion and i'm still catholic, because it's right that you don't need to change religion for you to change, because if you wanna change to be good the key is not in religion, it's in you, you can change to be good if you want to, you need to change from the help of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

     But we are born to only think of ourselves. And also commercials and advertisements, that's what they do. But to change that we need to pray to God, we should have moments with God, depending on Him. And if we are experiencing hardship from turning our fellow to believe in God, we should pray to God by our minds while we are talking to the person, and what we should pray is ask God what is the reason why our fellow is still turning back from God. Because our mission is to gather each one of us to be near to God. And we should follow the footstep of paul whom not thinking on his own sake, but thinking of the sake of other people, so many will be save.

     We should change on what we are thinking from local commissioner to global commissioner, all of us have been planned from God, by what race are we, from what family, our location to the whole world, God made this for us to seek to Him and find Him.

     We are fast changing because of the media, from what we eat, dress, sports, and many more like our dress is the same style as in other country.

     To be a global commissioner we should take a globe, or the map that has a circle shape, and each country we should pray for them. Because they can refuse our love for them, or spreading the good news, but from praying they don't have shield on it, that even if they are 10,000 miles away, it can reach our prayer, and what we should pray is many will experience change in there lives, we should have courage to spread the good news, many will believe, and many will work for the betterment.

     We should also pray for the missionary, because as paul said, by praying we can help the missionary. Because praying is our weapon and partner for the change. Not all of us are called to help for the change, but try to join those missionaries who goes to different countries, might be this is the answer if missionary is your calling too. Because if you do that your faith will more stretch and you will be more happy. And many more, and for us to do our mission we should learn the everlasting opinion, and because of this you will know the important up to the most important. Because our eyes can see will not last forever said paul, but those our eyes cannot see will last forever.

     The book said that we should not waste our time to those things that are not truly important, because God said that those who are being distracted or disturb for what God plans for him, then he is not worthy for His Kingdom.

     What is the reason for turning you back to become a world class missionary, what is the reason for stoping you to do what is right?. You should remove that to yourself, because you know and i know and God knows that you can do it.

     Jesus Christ is saying something that most of us misunderstood. What we should do is use our money to help many people, so that many will come back to God or believe in God, and when we went to heaven we will have many friends. So that when we are in heaven many will wait and thank us, so that those fellow whom we change will earn more reaches in heaven, and they will live Christ like here on earth and in heaven. The book says we should use the good news of God, because this is the reason why we have changed, and this will be the key for our fellow to change.

     We should remove all the reason why we aren't becoming missionary, there are many agencies to help us. The reason is we only know english but that is better because english is a universal language and many are wanting to learn it. You cannot share anything. That is wrong, because you have many abilities, and your experienced that had shape you is the one you will use, you are old enough. That is still invalid because there many old people who are missionary. Even if sarah said she was too old and jeremiah said he was too young, God did not accept there reason. And God said do not be scared by other people, to your fellow because i am with you on your mission, i will help and take care of you.

     Do not wait for the calling or feel something unusual before you start your mission, because all of us are called to be an instrument by God.

     We learned how to worship, fellowship, becoming like Christ, to serve and do our mission on earth, together with Jesus Christ. Many are scared or doesn't have knowledge that's why they are not becoming missionary, what we should do is pray deep and ask God, what is really our mission. And not only our friends and family will make them like Christ, but everyone. Because God wants to see all His lost children. Because the population on earth is about 6 billion, and we should help one another because many wants to believe now unlike before.

I need to help in the whole world in any way that i can, so that many will believe in God.
