Our Purpose Driven Life(English Version)

CHAPTER 39 March 19, 2004 4:53pm - 7:25pm

     Lucky are those who are balance, they are the one who last longer. In a sports game they call it pentathlon it's a five different games and you must able to play all those games, not only one, two, must be all five. And God five conceptual are, first love God whole heartedly, and because we are made for God happiness, just doing His ways will make Him happy. And for us to love God is to worship Him.

     Second is we should love our fellow same as we love ourselves. We are shape to serve, our purpose or what we should do to love our fellow is to do ministry.

     Third is go and make disciples, we are created because of the mission, that's why our purpose for us to spread the good news is thru evangelism.

     Fourth we should bless them that they are created to be part of God's Family. That's why what you should do is to introduce the church by doing fellowship(group).

     Fifth teach them so that they will do everything. We are created to be like Jesus Christ, that's why what we should do is to be mature for the discipleship(grow to maturity).

     The sturdy commitment to the sturdy commandment, and your great commission is to become a great christian, but this five cannot be easily balance, because from where we are skilled and passionate that's is what we should do, and sometimes we mostly detailed one of them, but we can balance it from joining to small group, to give importance to this five.

     Everyday you must evaluate your goodness in spiritual, write down your experience, and share what you have learned to others. If you are serious to balance this five, you should do it, talk to your spiritual partner or on a small group.

     For you to understand this book of the purpose driven life, you need to pass this book to your fellow or discuss this to your fellow. For us to grow, we need to help each other, and not only us is the one who do all things, for us to grow. In the group we should pray each member, we should encourage them, we can do like every week we can discuss each chapter of the book, and ask for what is the right thing to do.

     Give yourself everyday a spiritual check up, you should try if your faithfulness is as strong as the rock. You should not join on the wrong doing and just pray for it. Try those and if it didn't work out, try other things so you can overcome it.

     Isn't it when we need to be check up, we need a doctor to check our temperature, weight and many more. That's the same also we need someone to check our worship, fellowship, growth in character, ministry and mission. We need to write everything on a journal, it is better for it to be written so that we can remember it, by looking it back, but this is not a diary. And should not only write those that are only happy times and beautiful. Because on those hard times, that's where we achieve those lessons in life. We should write our doubts, fear and struggle to God. When there is a problem that came in, remember that God uses this for us to fulfill the five purpose driven life. Because the problem or challenges are made for God to push us closer to Him, for on those times we will pray, near to fellowship, building ourselves like Christ His character, and because of that you will giving ministry, that you will tell and share it to others, and testimonial. And even if others won't understand it that's okay, it is still important. And so that this will still be use in the next generation, that even if you are already in heaven, your work is still be known, and those who are not born yet, they give praise already to God.

     We should share our learned lesson to our fellow. Because those who bless will recieve more blessings, and those who help have already been help before. Now that you know your purpose, you need to share it so that they will also know there purpose. And if you have more knowledge, God is expecting you to do more, and more knowledge comes with more responsibilities.

     James say that if you know what's the right thing to do and you did not do it, that is a sin. But sharing is not obligation, it's a privilege. Imagine that all knows there purpose, isn't happy. And if you teach it to your fellow, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ. That's why teach it to your family, friends, co workers and your fellow.

     That's why we are sharing this for the happiness of God and giving strength to His Kingdom. Before Jesus Christ will die that night before He was crucified. He said to God that He already deliver the glory to the world, from the obligation that was given to Him, but He was not crucify on the cross yet. What He was talking about was the five purpose driven life He taught to His disciples.(worship, ministry, fellowship, discipleship and mission).

     That's why now we are being call by God for us to do what Jesus Christ did to His disciples, so it will be pass to there fellow. This is the purpose driven life, this is what all the book talk's about. It doesn't matter what your age is so let's do it.

We should become like Christ.
