"Oh piss of would you Niall? I don't even care"

The Irish lad threw his head back, a laugh that he didn't bother to even attempt to muffle - a laugh that really should have been muffled because it sounded horrendous - booming out of his mouth. "So they still don't even know it was you though?"

"Nope" I shook my head. "That girl.. What's her name? Beth- no Brittany. Well I heard her and her friends talking this morning about how there's this new fit guy in our physical ed class and somehow, went back into the changing rooms and never came out because apparently, they'd been waiting for me" I attempt to hide my amusement with a thin line across my face, but it splits into a grin when I see Niall laughing.

"Oh fuck, I can't believe it. Stupid fuckers" he mutters, signs of amusement still over his face. Niall had seen me walking through the school gates a few minutes ago and had called out my name, calling me back to walk to music with him. I didn't miss the confused glance when he looked at my out fit - seeing as I'm always wearing the same thing at school - but he didn't question it, thankfully.

"Have you started the music assessment? You know, the song and all" he said, breaking the comfortable silence that had fallen. "Kind of. I have a few lyrics that could be a chorus. Maybe. You?"

I glanced over at him, he was looking down at his feet. "Yeah. I have a song already that I wrote a while back. Not sure if I'm comfortable performing it though" he said, slight nerves in his voice.

"Well it's up to you mate. You'll do great weather you decide to use it or write another" I smiled slightly, trying to ease away the unnecessary nerves.

He looked almost grateful at my words and smiled back, before going on to something more light hearted. "Let's just hope Stan and his goons go first so they lower the expectations for us."

We both laughed at that because of how how true it was. "Right. Let's hope so"

There was a small smile left on my face as we entered the class and then we took our seats as usual.

Every thing I had been clutching onto went flying.

Not even exaggerating. Looking back at it, I had realized I must have looked like a complete klutz. My arms were flung open and I felt as if I did the kind of position you'd do as if you were about to fall into someone's arms.

Except the arms were actually the hard tiled floor and it wasn't me being a klutz. The foot that had caused this whole thing stood to my left and I could hear basically every student laughing at the scene.

"Stay down there. The dirt around you seems to make you at least bearable to look at."

Instead of Stan, this voice belonged to a damn girl. Coincidentally, it was Brittany. I didn't let my self react to her, in fact I didn't even let my self get off my hands and knees to look up at her. I waited until she said her final words, before she left.

"Fucking pathetic."

And it was true.

I began gathering my things, knees still on the ground before standing up properly. The laughter hadn't stopped around me but I couldn't fucking care less right now. Today had been okay until she ruined my somewhat - normal - day. My face stayed expressionless. Either that, or I had the most hateful look on my face, and my thoughts were confirmed when I looked up at few students and their eyes widened slightly before turning around.

My eyes met a pair of blue ones. Louis was stood in the clear space between part of the crowd and he had a sympathetic expression. This just made me more angry and as I made my way past him I let our shoulders brush a bit more forcefully. He didn't really react, just hung his head in what looked like shame.
