Motoko Hamasaki ~ A Kiba Inuzuka Love Story

My Guardian

My jaw drops. I have just been informed by Ino that I'm in the Hidden Leaf Village. I still cannot believe it's even possible. Yes, I've always dreamed and wanted it to be true and real but I've always just watched it from my computer screen. But...I pinch myself...Ouch! I'm definitely not dreaming. They all stare at me like I'm a weirdo.

"Hey why do you look so surprised?" Ino questions tilting her head towards my direction.

"It's just..." I explain my whole situation from this morning to now. Now it was their turn to drop their jaws.

"So your telling us," Shikamaru asks, "That in your 'world' or whatever you want to call it, We 'Naruto' are just some television series that you watch, and you can see whatever happens in here, the Hidden Leaf Village." I just nod my head in response.

"I don't know, but if you ask me sounds too fake." Choji says whilst eating some crisps.

"Yeah, well I think she knows far too much for it to be 'fake'." Pineapple head replies.

"Well either way it's not for us to decide, in the end it's up to Lady Tsunade." Ino says folding her arms, "She'll decide what'll be done about...Oh we don't even know your name yet do we?" Ino blushes slightly - probably at her own rudeness.

"Nope. But anyway my name is Motoko Hamasaki." I introduce myself.

After that Ino walks to Lady Tsunade's mansion, with me following her. Ino insists she'll take me alone because apparently those two will just get in the way.

"So how old are you exactly?" Ino tries to start a conversation.

"15." I say.

"Just a year younger them me. Hmm. You kind of don't look it, you look a bit younger actually. No offence." She says turning to me just for a glance and continues to face forward.

"It's ok." I reply blushing slightly - luckily she's ahead and can't see me.

The rest of the way we walk in awkward silence but I occupy myself by staring at the scenery, buildings and whatever we went past.

"Ok we're here now, remember when we go in be respectful towards the Hokage. Address her as Lady Tsunade or Lady Hokage, ok?" Ino warns.

I just nod but try to hide my annoyance, if I was an anime character I think I would have an irk mark on my forehead right now. She does realise I do know from watching Naruto online - With Lady Tsunade things can turn pretty ugly if you get on the wrong side of her.

Ino knocks a couple of times on the door to Lady Tsunade's office, before a voice calls "Come in!" From what I hear it's an annoyed, tired and a why-do-I-have-to-be-trapped-in-an-office-full-of-paper-work-voice.

Ino enters first with me following behind her. I try to hide behind Ino, because I can imagine Lady Hokage screaming her head off from having to deal with me, but Ino pulls me to her side. We both bow. When I raise my head back up I see Lady Tsunade sat at her desk, hands laid in front of her. And beside her, standing up is Shizune who is holding Tonton.

"What brings you here Ino? And who is your friend you have brung along with you?" Lady Hokage eyes me suspiciously - which I don't blame her, she has to insure the Villages safety.

"Lady Tsunade, This is Motoko Hamasaki, she is the reason I am here." Ino gestures towards me. Then she goes onto explain everything I have told her, whilst I just stand there feeling awkward, they're talking as if I'm not even in the same room as them.

During Ino's explanation Lady Tsunade stares intently at her, only saying 'Mhmm' or 'Hmm' in between her pauses. Finally after the nervous wait Lady Tsunade speaks up, turning her attention to me "Well, I'm afraid there's not much I can do for you. I sort of believe this explanation of yours. But I'm still astounded as to how this could be real, you still look shocked yourself. Shizune come here."

Shizune follows the Hokage's demand. Lady Tsunade waves for her to come closer to her. Then whispers into Shizune's ear, too quiet for me to make out what she's saying. Shizune nods and disappears into a cloud of smoke.

"Girl's just wait right there until Shizune comes back." Lady Tsunade orders. We just nod back. The Hokage continues writing with her paper work, whilst me and Ino just look around and try to occupy ourselves. At one point Lady Tsunade gets fierce and scrunches up a sheet of paper and aims it into the bin, which makes me almost jump.

After about 5 minutes comes a knock at the door. "Enter!" Lady Hokage calls. Shizune walks in with two other people. One is a boy, around 16. He's handsome, tall, with brown hair. He is wearing a black leather jacket and matching black trousers. I notice that he's got a tooth sticking out or what looks like a 'fang' and on his cheeks are red fangs - it looks like face paint. By his side is a big white dog, it looks massive. I hate big dogs!

"Kiba, Akamaru, nice to see you." Lady Tsunade greets them. "Argff!" The big white dog barks back. I almost feel like fainting. It's Kiba! I feel like I'm heating up in my face. Kiba walks to stand in the middle of me and Ino, Akamaru following. I can't believe I'm this close to Kiba. I cower away. Big dogs scare me...a lot!

Kiba laughs. "Are you scared of dogs?" I just look at Akamaru afraid which pretty much answers his question. "Don't worry he's well trained, he won't bite." He looks at me grinning - I don't know whether he's amused or just smiling. I stare at him but quickly avert my gaze and hopes he doesn't see me blush. I didn't know Akamaru would be so scary in real life, I mean on watching the anime he just seemed cute. As for Kiba, he's hotter in real life - just thinking about this makes me blush.

"Hey your not from the Hidden Leaf Village are you?" Kiba asks me but gets interrupted by Lady Tsunade.

"Kiba, this is Motoko Hamasaki...I want you to look after her for awhile, at least until she gets used to the Village and everything - you kind of have to be her guardian. Think of this as your mission, so I'm afraid you can't go on other missions for awhile, as you can't take her along as well - as she's not a qualified ninja." Lady Hokage tells Kiba also explaining where I've come from and how I got here.

Kiba nods. "Ok, well best get you home now, it's getting late." I raise my eyebrow questioningly, "I meant my home. For now my home will be yours." Kiba says to me then winks. I blush. Why did he just do that? Ino punches him in the arm. "Your scaring her, cant you see?...Lady Tsunade do you think maybe she should stay with me instead?" Ino asks, obviously concerned for me.

"No. I said Kiba's going to look after her and he will. Now you may all leave now." Lady Tsunade states waving her hand, still writing furiously on her paper. So hard it looks like the paper will rip.

"Come on lets go now. It's getting dark." Kiba tells me.

"O-ok." I feel so shy, I don't think I can talk to Kiba without stuttering. Me, Ino and Kiba walk towards the door.
